Some hospitals are bringing in dogs to spend entire shifts with doctors and nurses. The trained canines help staff cope with the stress of their work amid high levels of burnout.

I'm petitioning her for a service dog for the OR staff (in the lounge).
They have a retired service dog as their family pet. She is the sweetest, calmest dog. She was a court testimony dog, for kids.

Time off, work/life balance is key - and impossible in some situations. But push for as much as you can get.
It's not you, Fido, it's the higher ups who think you're cute enough to excuse the exploitation.
