I subscribe to this theory. I have two swords by my bed, a sabre, and a facsimile of the one that Kevin Sorbos is no longer worthy to carry that is mine now. I am ready for that break in. I will win, and the "homeowner beheads invader" will go viral.
this is an extremely achievable dream. maybe a bit less so with tariffs but wow what a time to be alive if you like swords or like nerdy fantasy weapons (I have a Mjolnir and a Cap shield!)

My grandfather bought a sword in Japan after the war. It was kind of cool, we found out later from an appraiser that it was a Chinese sword and therefore probably spoils of war so we sent it to China's embassy
It works! Also known as the "paradox of the hammer. As in: one isn't supposed to use it/bring it to work but as long as it helps getting stuff done their supervisor won't mind. And when they do just tell them you see it more like a megaphone as everybody listens more carefully when one waves it
