1. Pick a meat (pork, chicken, fish, beef, whatever)
2. Brush with olive oil
3. Season (with whatever you want)
4. Air fry for 7 minutes
5. See if it's fully cooked.
6. Cook longer or eat.
Cut whole potatoes into 8 pieces.
Boil for ten minutes.
Drain into a metal colander and rough them up.
Into a bowl with a little vegetable oil and seasoning salt.
Air fryer for 15 minutes.
Enjoy :)
Just start with simple things such as fries and toasties. I’ve cooked everything in mine including ribs, roasts, vegetables, sweet pies and cakes. Just Google.
I roast veggies like cauliflower in the air fryer and then half way through I put a pork chop or piece of salmon on top and voila - dinner with minimal clean up and I don’t stink up my apartment!
I can’t imagine how you would do that!
I spend a lot of time out with the critters here and I am too pooped to prep and cook and clean by the time I am clear.
Is it like a crock pot only faster?
Get the one that's an air fryer, convection oven, toaster, etc. So much easier to use! We have Emeril's and rarely ever use our regular oven. Easy and healthy.
After you assemble sandwich, cover top w/ thin layer of butter(i use melted butter, 1 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp dried parsley) air fryer @ 400 for 4-5 mins. Remove & flip, cover with butter, back in for 4-5 mins. Makes it light crispy & melted cheese that oozes out of sides also gets fried. So good.
Mine was only $40 but it was Temu & they do melt quicker than cubes so I only use them in insulated tumblers.
Lights tell me if it's full or out of water.
Get the Emeril air fryer/convection oven. So easy. Because it has a wire basket, you don't have to stop halfway through to shake your food to evenly cook and crisp food.
Air fryer ovens are definitely worth the investment! You can do so many different things with it. We use ours daily from rewarming to baking to frying. And don't even get me started on how I love not having to turn on the big oven anymore!
I found a practically new Instant brand Airfryer at Goodwill for under $15 a few months ago & it quickly became my MVP kitchen appliance. I dubbed it Amelia Airfryer, because she’s a total badass who NEVER disappoints. Roast potats in under 30 mins? FUCK, yeah! Perfect steak? HELL’s yes! J’ADORE👍🏼😀👏🏻💙
My wife was gifted an air fryer a few years back, and the first time she cooked in it , the pm2.5 reading on the upstairs air quality monitor spiked higher than I'd ever seen it before.
Now she uses the AF out on the deck; not indoors.
The things should have prominent warning labels on them, imo.
Do itttttt! I love mine!!! I finally perfected my recipes and have a bunch of favorites lol I even bought extra pints so I can make ice cream for other people
Absolutely! I always use the same base-whole milk, heavy cream and then a few spoons of sweetened condensed milk. I use a lot of pudding mixes for different flavors (favorites so far are pistachio, pumpkin spice, banana cream) and I've also played around with extracts like mint and cake batter
Two things...do NOT just throw raw chicken into it and expect it to get "fried." It won't. I told my daughter it wouldn't, but she did not listen.
The other: Try salmon. I HATE salmon but this thing does salmon!
I was tempted but a friend who's lodging for a bit brought one with him. In the 6 weeks since it arrived I've only used my main oven 5 times (for joints of meat and pizzas). Normal evening meals get air-fried; quick (so cheap) and crisps things up really well. Use a silicon liner & stays clean too.
Reheat pizza in it, make Tyson Southern Chicken Tenderloins and tater tots, also, do NOT under any circumstances sook steak in it, because it will turn into roast beef 100%. Oh, and drink more soda.
if you let the fries soak in hot water and baking soda until extremely tiny pieces come off, then chill them in the fridge, then air fry, then chill them again, then air fry again, they turn out incredibly crisp and delicious.
be careful though because at some point, the fry will stop being a fry
My favorite thing is I never have to force myself to eat a bunch of french fries again I just eat what I want and then take them home. Throw them in them in the air fryer and they are as good as they were the first time.
It’s gods greatest gift to humanity. The air fryer. A medieval peasant would call it witchcraft for how marvelous the mechanisms of this glorious device is. Long past are the times of access oil on foods, now we in a more civilized time. Hm yes the Air fryer. Truly man’s greatest invention
Line the basket w/ parchment and put an overlapping layer of thick chips down. Then dollop refried beans, add rotisserie chicken/carnitas, pickled jalapenos. Cover it all with a healthy mound of cheese. Air fry at 380 for 3-4 min. Lift the whole thing out, transfer to a plate, top with pico. Enjoy!
I'm not a gadget person but got an air fryer when I moved into my yurt- no oven or microwave. I use mine almost every day and love it! Best chicken ever! Have fun.

It's not like I eat a lot of fried stuff anyway. But when I do, I have to do it right.
Y'all are free to disagree. I grew up in the south though. Y'all probably think I overcook my greens, too.

I’ve been resisting- and a reluctant cook
What kind is a good starter ? 😬
Thank you 😊

Is it like a crock pot only faster?
- 400g tin of chickpeas
- 1 paprika
- frozen cauliflower
- chicken sausage or veggie chicken strips
- 1 teaspoon of ras al hanout (or paprika powder)
- 1 tablespoon of oil
Toss together, 10-15 mins on 180 C.
Corn dogs taste like the State Fair corn dogs in Iowa. They're good too. 😋
Bfast sausages and bacon are great.
Cauliflower is great
Wings are great (start frozen, 20min at 370, 25 at 400)
Chimichangas... Wrap anything in a tortilla and put it in there.
I would quickly choose the airfryer. I cook/reheat so much that the microwave now rarely gets used at all.
My 2nd favorite appliance is now a countertop ice maker.
Lights tell me if it's full or out of water.
I'll always do that now. 😂
Then it fits perfectly on the bread.
Now she uses the AF out on the deck; not indoors.

Read EVERYTHING.

You're welcome ;) YouTube chefs really do make home cooking easy and fun
Crisp foods cooked quickly.
Look over your weekly food menus - and compare to what you would cook in an air fryer before you buy to see if it’s worthwhile. 🤷🏼♀️
Dude.....
