I say it's time for Dems to send Chuck by way of Pelosi. Options to consider could be Sheldon Whitehouse, Angus King, Mark Kelly, Bernie Sanders, Chris Murphy, Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren. Schumer is outdated. Instead of breathing fire, especially after Trump's insults, he's coughing up ash.
A yes vote on the CR from the house will embolden TRUMP/MUSK/PUTIN and cement their hold over congress. Capitulation is never the answer to a dictator. This very well maybe the only chance to make a stand, while they are still weak. A YES will only strengthen them and weaken congress.

Schumer actually made a thought-provoking point on Chris Hayes tonight: a government shutdown would allow Trump to close the courts. That would be a disaster, since the courts have been standing in the way of some of the Trump/Musk Regime's worst actions.
There is a protest for veterans next Saturday, March 15. If possible, part of that protest should call for primarying any Democrat who votes for the CR (anti-veteran) bill, especially Schumer.

Trump would love it if the government shuts down. He wouldn't have to honor our financial obligations, nobody would get Social Security or Medicare and the outrage from Americans would give him a reason to declare Martial Law and send his gestapo into the streets to do their worst.
