I'm curious if others encountered this "No Kings was aCkShUaLlY funded by Walmart" right wing propaganda talking point coming from folks on the left. Three people I know independently asked me about this yesterday. IMO, it's an interesting & depressing case study in propaganda.

I’ve had to teach myself to notice it, file it away and then ignore it. It usually passes into nothingness.
Instead I try to focus on the 80% that’s positive and help keep the momentum moving forward.
(side note: I joked several times these protests have been a boon for Office Depot)

Various forms of extremism, even apolitical woo-woo nonsense, seems to thrive and propagate in this space.
It seemed inaccurate (and giving too much credit) to label the top / center as "objectivity."
By hijacking the Army's 250th anniversary, so as to have a parade on his birthday, Trump forced Dems to disrespect the celebration, making his fascist takeover of the country's armed forces much easier.
