You've been doing a great job the pricing is good for quality journalism. I always appreciated it I didn't expect @wired.com to be the best source for tracking the Trump administrations shenanigans but you happen to surprise me that got me to finally pay
Been subscribing since 1994 even though I had barely any money. And teaching your articles since then! My partner and I have a joint subscription. But I have to harass her for our password. 😁
I’m one of those that subscribed this morning. Print and digital, because I’m still a print guy at heart. I’ve always liked Wired, and this was specifically because of your work on the Musk-led incels. thanks for the good journalism.
You and your colleagues are doing the most important work in the country right now. I'm gladly subscribing, and will probably give a couple of gift subscriptions as well!
I’ve found it particularly helpful in sharing with friends and family who don’t know the esoterica of tech.
So powerful to get reporting from people that actually understand what is going on from a technology perspective, but explain the impact in plain language.
It’s time the Democratic Party needs to stand together united same message. Stop doing all other business. He already gave him a get out of jail. Free card .is time to invoke the 25th amendment. This is extreme is being done and we need extreme right back.
Actually, there are two different subs landing sites rn - one is $5/dig-$6/dig+print, the other is $12/dig+print. Just went through this to gift a subs (I still have 3 years on my own.)
I’m curious if you know how much of this increase is due to Bluesky? I know that kind of stuff can be hard to track but I’m sure I’m not the only curious if this site is starting to help build up journalists and news sites that deserve it.
well it is all about grifting liberals out of money yah lol
even if you are in fact basically feeding people having violent thoughts or making threats against what are basically some young smart guys whose aim to is make the government better than it has been
I hate to be that guy, but not having an Android app is a deal breaker for me. The one chance I get to read in peace is on planes, and for that I need an app that works offline.
The New Yorker is in the same stable right? Please just borrow their app (which is great) & I'll subscribe to you too.
Thank you and @wired.com for the great reporting. I'm very happy to support these great journalists. Only $6 for the year with a physical copy of the magazine‼️
Will resubscribe if WIRED shows that it doesn't have a deep and unshakable commitment to kissing Bill Gates' ass every couple issues, as is has done for many years now
In my distaste for Bill Gates' ass, and in my search for a tech magazine that didn't force me to taste it, I found Logic(s) mag, which provides less marketing-y tech writing even in the absence of a Nazi apartheid beneficiary that the media loves to dote on
Serious question: what is it about Wired’s ownership structure that has prevented “neutral” ideology from taking root and letting you all actually do proper journalism(appeal to the interests of readers!)?
I just subscribed 2 days ago. Read piece on Musk’s kid engineers accessing our data at Treasury, etc. Tell journalist to find out if Akash Bobba is an Indian on a H-1B visa…I suspect he is.
I literally got a Year's subscription for $5 less than 10 minutes ago. Their 'dead on balls accurate' reporting with the quickness got my money and it's worth it. Real reporting.
Would be nice if wired ever let me login. It keeps telling me there are too many requests and to delete cookies. I'm guessing it doesn't like my ad blocker. I'll suck it up but would like to be able to read the subscription I paid for.
My login is also screwed. I have no idea how to manage my subscription since I have no password somehow (I paid using Google Pay which I think must bypass the usual signup flow)
oh i know im just kidding… (also ive been a subscriber for a while and have never had an issue logging in, never had to disable anything, so that’s weird!)
I have had intermittent issues - like a week on and a week off type stuff. For a while I could login and then it would send me to the New Yorker front page, which I have no account for. Something is definitely amiss with their auth.
Does your ad blocker let you quiesce it for like 5 minutes? Once you get the auth token you should be good until expiry. At least, it works with pi.hole.
Yeah the fact that you don't get an actual login with a digital sub or any way to create a wired account or even make the account needed to use the customer care service they link to is shady af! I paid the five and want to support their journalism, but I immediately stopped the sub via paypal.
I just re-subscribed due to wired's indispensable coverage of the DOGE takeover. The $5 subscription deal can't be passed up. I also recently stumbled upon this physical issue from July 2000 on a shelf I was cleaning up.
I do believe I’ll jump on the subscription train today. Keep up the awesome work. WIRED has performed more journalism than every legacy outlet combined in the past two weeks.
I pay for almost nothing, especially from pop ups and “to read this”, I don’t even like entering information, but I have in the past seen $5 on wired and thought, sure that’s worth it. Even if I didn’t use it much, I probably will again now.

It's noticed and appreciated.

Wired: The mag’s Musk coup reporting
If we live to see a Pulitzer jury convene …
Just doesn't work.
It does appear both emails are registered accounts though.
Thank you!!!!
It's for a year!
Great writing.
