*whispers* I still don't think Biden was that bad and the fact that a bunch of democrat voters fell for a very one-sided media frenzy should be pretty discouraging to people's attitudes that right wing voters are more susceptible to this stuff than left wing voters

2) his debate performance was terrible
3) debate performances are overrated
I want both major parties to split. Then I want elections with more fat left wing candidates.
And I think the main reasons why more people don't understand that are:
1) Inflation was historically bad in 2022, and a lot of people incorrectly blame him for that.
2) Democrats suck at PR.
Mistakes are often front and center. Also, front and center itself is usually a mistake.
and he was never exactly a brilliant debater tbh.
bro really said "I was VP for your first black president, and now I'm giving you your second, enjoy bitches."
Dark Brandon Strikes one last time.
The support to infrastructure and sustainability is huge.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am voting for Harris.
Most of my friends are in the same boat.
One thing that has specifically has driven me nuts to hear in person with all that, as someone with a stutter, people who claim they're on the left mindlessly repeat the Fox News point that Biden's stutter means he's senile and an idiot. Directly to my face.
I don't think he's got dementia either, unlike SOME candidates cough cough. But he is getting frail.
I'm happy to have Harris but yeah, media still blows.
But it is time for new blood.
Harris realized she couldn’t rely on MSM to get her info out. And that shift in approach is why she’s got the chance she has.
Dems seem to always be a few steps behind the media narrative. Obama seemed to be pretty good at it. Unfortunately just putting your head down and working like Biden did isn’t enough
Democrats need to play hard ball. If Garland wasn’t getting it done, they should’ve found someone who could.
Trump fired a ridiculous # of people.
Dems should take note.
Feel the same way about 1A? It should be expanded to exclude more speech?
I think he was no longer up to the process of running. The difference in engagement and energy and pace of events when Kamala stepped in was night and day.
I’m hopeful that it is true.
Joe’s a hero but I’m also glad he was magnanimous enough to step back.
I like Harris a lot and will vote for her, but I'm definitely going to hold a grudge against all the anti-Biden folks.
At the same time, he very obviously doesn't have another four years of gas in the tank.
The debate made this obvious to everyone. A couple big newspapers in the tank for Trump doesn't change that.
