Messengers am I right? Messiah and Avengers combined. Cannot see another option here but fortunately this works perfectly.

Timely. I remember coming away from the original thinking 'that was great but it's Andy's story in 20 years that I'm interested in'

This year needs a face letting the champ know they're cashing in ahead of time I think. It should be Sami Zayn winning and telling Jey he's cashing in at Summerslam. But Kross should definitely be used more.

6.5 with Bradley 5.5 feels right.

Mad to think Arteta was playing there with Paulista

Morgan Rogers is the right answer out of all of these so that's good news at least.

Palace assets turning up at Spurs both exact same motivation levels. I think it makes people over estimate a team like Forest at home in a derby vs Leicester who literally have nothing better to do than ruin Forest's season.

Gabe Kidd is an absolute star. Really great talent for AEW to be working with.

Have you seen Six Feet Under?

Quansah, Barco, Nkunku triple up. Currently Top 7k so it's been some turn around from this start! Might try a balanced defence next year 😂

I think it goes to show how much confidence, comfort and a player's personal life translates to the pitch. I think it makes a Messi or Ronaldo longevity and consistency even more impressive really. Foden had an awful Euros and it's carried through into a whole season.

Sophie's choice this.

Great response. Liverpool were circling the drain that year but their D team still had enough about them to nick the Champions League. Spurs have been bad. Liverpool wouldn't have won the title but wouldn't have finished 16th. Hope Spurs win the Europa League.

I've got him captain as well but intentionally. My thinking is people are massively overrating how good the Man U at home fixture is for Mbuemo and massively underrating how good Chelsea away is for Salah. Hopefully the truth falls sonewhere on our side 😂
comment in response to post
Captaining the best player in the league against a woeful Chelsea team is never a mistake. Even if it was.

Love how your forward line is completely different to Isak, Marmoush, Mateta and yet looks great and completely viable. So many good forwards this year. Templates never been too template. Been a good season I think.

Oh right.

Who's the bitch in this scenario? Me or is that me saying it about Ben Crellin? My comeback will be different depending which way which is why I ask.

Makes a huge difference as well. Mbuemo just a crazy bps player on the other side of things.
comment in response to post
Mbuemo and Bowen feel like solid picks until the end of the season. Bowen can just blank any week against anyone is my issue though. West Ham just don't create enough. Ceiling really low this year too, like very few double digit hauls, bps never really there.

You look at Nwanieri and Miles-Skelly as two players who've broke through in Prem who could've had loans. Scearles at West Ham. Young kids better than what these teams have spent £50 mil + on. I remember us getting Nketiah after he'd just played in the Europa League final.
comment in response to post
Not a load of high calibre Prem academy loans is there? Derby had Mount, Tomori, Harry Wilson when they beat us in Play Offs. I think Wrexham will make things interesting next year, especially for you lot.
comment in response to post
This narrative is built off of 6 of the worst promoted teams in the Prem's history. So many Prem clubs have gone backwards badly this season and are trending in that direction. All 3 teams stayed up only two seasons ago. If you don't sell your best player and lose your manager to Chelsea, it helps.
comment in response to post
5.0m Rogers probably the only poorly priced asset given that he'd started to get game time the end of tge season before. 5.5 would've still been really cheap but more sensible. The rest have just gone off. Isak was well priced. Can't expect Haaland to have the season he's had.
comment in response to post
You're in great shape if Brentford go to Forest and beat them

Chelses defensive double is about as much as I'd be interested in. Clean sheets hard to come by all season for majority of teams.

Spoke to a Norwich fan at the train station last season after they'd played Huddersfield. Was full of praise for Farke and the job he did there. He had no chance with two Norwich squads worse in the Prem than they were in Championship. Deserves more respect for sure.
comment in response to post
Honestly believe this is speculative nonsense. We're playing good football. His Norwich teams were both worse squads in the Prem than the Championship. Not comparable to us you would hope.
comment in response to post
They absolutely did. But they didn't spend what Ipswich did and they were still a bit of a miracle promotion. No one had a realistic expectation they would stay up but you're right they gave it a proper go until injuries bit too hard.
comment in response to post
Don't want to take anything away from Luton. Or Blackpool. Or any team getting to the Prem who never usually do. Makes the league and product better. Huddersfield stayed up didn't they. It's always possible. But it's no one's expectation. And they very much benefitted from it.
comment in response to post
Lost key CB to a massive injury right before first season so starts with 3rd choice Championship CB starting most of the season. Sell Buendia second season. And that's after getting promoted with fairly modest teams twice. His Prem record isn't fair at all tbh.

All I'm going to say is that I doubt Joe Hendry was upset about it. In fact I'd be very confident to say that it will have been, without question, the pinnacle of his career and he loved every second. It's only something to be happy about for him and for TNA.
comment in response to post
Punk's debut. Could not have had a bigger spotlight on him 😂
comment in response to post
They didn't embarrass them or Hendry. Look I really do get it. We've seen old legends squash young guys over the years and make them look crap. This really wasn't that. He got a huge entrance in an anticipated match against a legend. Hendry isn't Danielson. He doesn't need to be super 'credible'.

This is the biggest platform TNA has been put on with their biggest star for 20 years. If you like TNA, you should be delighted.

0.76 xgi still big. Both players unlucky not to return.

We thought we were toast then Shef U lost three in a row to teams we thought were gimmes. Nothing's for sure. The most encouraging thing from our perspective has been the performances returning I think.
