Cool before serving. The pudding will seperate into 2 layers, a top souffle like layer and a bottom sauce layer. Nummy and light.

Beat egg whites until stiff. In an 8" baking dish (deeper than a pie plate) mix together the egg yolks, sugar, flour, butter, salt, lemon juice and rind. When mixed, slowly add the milk & then the beaten egg whites. Set in a pan of boiling water and bake until set, 50 to 60 min at 350F.

Gardening? Today? I look out there and see a baking day. Lemon pudding. Need: 2 lemons, juiced & grated rind. 2 eggs, seperated. 2 Tbsp. potato flour (or starch). 2/3 c sugar. 2 cups milk. 1 Tbsp butter. Dash salt. Grate lemon rind to get a few tsps. Use juicer to get the most juice from cut lemons

It's been a while, but usually found that "productive meeting" was an oxymoron. Online or not.

I think it has something to do with an aging back that makes the floor/ground get further away. Sigh.

Robert Francis Provost, an American. Served in Latin America for a long time. Wanna bet who is going to claim to have made this happen?

Yup, watching Steve Boots on Twitch who is watching the Vactican live stream. Waiting to see the new pope.

I have relatives in Vernon. Many are just like those in rural Alberta. Not all BC is lotus land, some have other delutions.

My sister is perhaps best described as an old school socalist hippy. She now lives deep in con-land. Her approach is to actively listen and gently question. She gets good interaction and manages to spark some doubt. Not at all a bad approach.

Ever think of moving to Mastodon? I think it may be better (not 100% sure, but I find it so).

Must admit the only time crazy talkin' Dani made me go, well is actually something I've always thought would be a good thing, is when I heard that she talked about a high speed rail line. Getting that started in Canada would not be bad, depending on how it was done.

Yup, when anyone starts seriously taking about what she is doing in anything really serious, such as health care, she trots out this kind of crud to hide the issues. Last time CPP, and as Albertans made it VERY clear that was a no go, she has switched to seperation. Non-go, trigger issues.

Always willing to learn. So, what are they.

Ya know, come to think, (Albertan here) always thought of it kinda like, B.C. is west coast, AB, SK are west, MB is middle, ON/QC are east, NL/PE/NS/NB are Maritimes, YT/NT/NU are north. And the coolest and most chill provinces are those on the east and west coasts.

You just made me laugh. What you just said is exactly what my fellow Albertans always thought of anyone from Ontario, and especially from Toronto. The old "Toronto thinks it is the centre of the universe" meme.

And to be clear, I was born in Alberta, as was my father and both his parents; as was my mother and both her parents. For someone of non-indigenous background, I am about as Albertan as you can get.

Can I have an opinion as an Albertan? Even if it is as a pinko Edmontonian? Not a separatist at all, but, not a fan of eastern-central (guess I mean Ontario?) arrogance either. For example, how can those who voted in Doug Ford try to claim the higher ground?

Got an update from Telus. The reason stuff is going down and land lines have been down for days is because someone stole some of the main cable line. Hunger to pawn copper is strong, and rude.

Humm, my lower back has been giving me grief for a few days. Let's start a "new virus out there" rumour? And, sending what good karma I can spare; may the bad backs bug off.

Maybe, maybe not. I went to get tickets a day after they went on sale and had very little choice. Pretty sure it sold out last September.

Beginning to think they will not have to worry about this, as who in their right mind will voluntarily go to the USA anymore?
