Permanent cancellation? What crime has he been convicted of?

Yes.

Universal health care? You mean free health care. I’m not sure that a free health care system is a good system. We do offer Medicaid for the poor and Medicare for the elderly.

I never said the children didn’t have birthright citizenship in the US. They do. I tried to say that it’s not a good thing and would not happen in most European countries.
comment in response to post
Jodi, it is a fact that children born in France to two non-French citizens who are living illegally in France are not citizens of France. Same for Denmark. Truth not trolling.
comment in response to post
In Europe this wouldn’t be a question. The daughters would not be citizens just because they were born in France or Denmark. Only in America can you live illegally for decades and complain when the law is eventually enforced.

Most people want ILLEGAL immigrants deported. Allowing the drug cartels to operate a billion dollar business in human trafficking has been reprehensible.
comment in response to post
It is a curious thing to expect sympathy for those who violate our law when those laws are actually enforced. They managed to live in the US illegally for decades and had a final order for deportation …

Steve’s comment here is a good example of the divisiveness that comes from identity politics.

Why is taxation always the Left’s answer? Billionaires have armies of accountants, lawyers, and lobbyists to mitigate their tax liabilities - it’s the middle class who end up paying more in taxes - always.

Yep! I’m that age!

So, she’s in favor of biological women only competing in women’s Olympic swimming? This shouldn’t be controversial.

Exactly! But didn’t they own the beer they destroyed? I mean, I don’t remember anyone breaking into a bar and setting someone else’s Bud Light in fire.

I hope it works out for this couple … and I wish she had taken care of her immigration situation before getting on a commercial airplane.

The combination of paranoia, panic, and self-importance among the comments here would be humorous … were it not so discouraging.

The bureaucrats in all those 3-letter Federal agencies in Washington have been the problem, not the leadership in Texas.

Fixing the American power grid is something that needs to be done immediately. The only people who might possibly do that … aren’t Democrats.

Why are we importing power from Canada!? Making Canada wealthy at the expense of American homeowners? Hope this gets corrected ASAP.

Don’t confuse reckless, offensive, self-indulgent behavior for actual bravery. Al Green was not, and is not, in any physical danger … nor is he courageous.

I respect an individual’s right to live their life as they wish - as long as no one else is harmed. I do not agree that others should be shammed, or coerced, into endorsing the ridiculous delusions of others. The truth may be hurtful at times, but the truth is real … a delusion is not.

The law firm in question purposefully promoted a Russian collusion theory that was completely false.

A successful electric car, made in America. The only thing preventing unanimous celebration of this is Musk’s support of Trump. The illogical condemnation of Musk reflects the irrational behavior that has cost Democrats any chance of retaking the Whitehouse or Congress for the foreseeable future.

Of course, I’m referring to the creation of a meme that implies that Carrie Underwood is a racist. Thats reprehensible.
comment in response to post
Spectacularly stupid, childish, and demeaning … the kind of behavior we should all denounce.
comment in response to post
Great way to demonize someone you disagree with. This kind of meme reflects how the left helped Trump get reelected. Calling someone a racist because they support a conservative candidate just doesn’t work. You should have learned that already.
comment in response to post
I’ll be listening to Carrie’s music a lot more now.

Didn’t Justin Trudeau announce his resignation last week? Looks like Trump got him!
comment in response to post
Ridiculous. Your failure to condemn murder is the same as your approval of it.

Elon Musk says “We are going to position Cybertrucks with Starlinks and free WiFi in a grid pattern in the areas that most need it in the greater LA/Malibu area.”

Sure … I’m sure he’ll have a public defender … not the highest paid lawyer money can buy.

No one deserves to be shot down on a sidewalk from ambush while walking to work in the morning. To think otherwise is wrong.

Luigi’s family is still very wealthy.

You need to do your research. Luigi’s family was very wealthy and he is the heir to multimillion dollar trust fund. Furthermore, he and his family had no connection whatsoever to the victim.

Encouraging someone, even obliquely, to engage in cold blooded murder is wrong.

It is illegal in the US to consider race, gender, or ethnicity as a factor in any employment decision.

The devastation has been exacerbated by incompetence. Clearly, the elected leaders have been focused on something else rather than practical issues; like preventing wildfires.

I agree with you on guns.? The average citizen has no legitimate reason to own an assault rifle.

Miss you on X Mr. King!
comment in response to post
When the media calls Trump a liar because he exaggerates and over-promises, the media sends the message that these problems aren’t real.
comment in response to post
Thank you @CNN for playing the @chrisrock joke about the cold-blooded murder of #BrianThompson - great laughs. Truly reprehensible. Have you no shame?
comment in response to post
You don’t post much here either. I miss you on X and hope you’ll be back. This Blue sky is boring.

Sand - You remind me of Martha McKay. Here is her story: people.com/crime/people...

Sandi - can you post a link to that case where a person of color steals a cig and gets 10 years?

The prosecutor dismissed the manslaughter charge and the jury acquitted Penny of negligent homicide. Clearly Penny did not intend to kill anyone, whereas Luigi planned and executed a cold blooded murder.

I don’t think the press fears the government. But the government now has little fear of the press anymore. Both have little credibility.
