For someone like you? I bet shitposting is why you get up each day

Well, I hope one day you get to tell me “I told you so”.

Now you’re showing off You can count syllables well For a platypus

I like this idea. It’s a pretty broad take on what qualifies as art, but I’m cool with stretching the meaning a bit here for the sake of the sentiment.
comment in response to post
What’s the point? Why set up a bot to argue with people over something as inconsequential as defining art?

I’m pretty damn certain we will never ever find out.

I admire your enthusiasm about this. I loved the show and would love to see it get renewed, but I would be shocked if they brought it back. The Acolyte had an astronomical cost, barely cracked the top 10, and that’s not even to mention the reviews. We liked the show, but are not in the majority.
comment in response to post
That does not mean the show made money. If Disney is like any company I’ve ever worked for, the ROI is measured on a product to product basis. If a product/service loses the company money, it gets discontinued. As is what happened with the Acolyte.
comment in response to post
I’ll give you a reason. The Acolyte lost money. As much as I loved the series, Disney is a company and companies exist to make money. That’s all that matters.

What’s the saying? Congestiveness is next to godliness?

Completely convincing. There’s a certain energy that Sith Lord’s have that separate them from other villains. Manny found it and nailed it.

The more bad music you write, the easier it gets to write good music.

You don’t need to comment, ie not every thought you have needs to be shared. Applies to real life too.

The best choreo we’ve seen since Revenge of the Sith.

You’ll find that “more interesting” and “more popular” don’t overlap very often, especially with really big artists.
comment in response to post
The US is definitely not the only place on earth like that.

Turns out, there is exactly 1 responsible adult in the entirety of the Star Wars universe.

You’ve clearly never heard someone practice piano haha
comment in response to post
Thank you! It totally does! There’s absolutely no question as to why it is as popular as it is.

I feel weird being the pro-TikTok person in this conversation, but the app is actually incredible if you take the time to train the algorithm. If you spend like 15min clicking “not interested” on the brainrot shit and go looking for the content you DO like, your feed can get really good.

Congrats! Recording/production is one of my favorite parts about music. I hope you enjoy it!

I’ve always thought an “artist on artist” series where the artists involved were from different industries would be fascinating. Put a musician and a tattoo artist in the same room and see what common ground they find with how they understand art.

While we’re on the subject, you should check out Buster’s track on Archetype: Gojira X Sessions. Sounds like a HLB outtake or something. Really cool stuff.
comment in response to post
Buster Odeholm is leading the genre right now. No one is producing heavy music that sounds anywhere near as big. The fact that the same guy plays in Vildhjarta, HLB, Thrown, and is producing stuff like Silent Planet’s last album is wild. Same guy!

One of the best prog metal albums ever written.

We’ve got some overlap! You should add VOLA to the mix, I think they’d be right up your alley. Start on Witness if you aren’t familiar.

Thank you! We’ve gotten some solid SW content over the last 10 years but everyone only wants to talk about the parts they didn’t like.
