That's the drawback to restarting, but what is the advantage?

56 minutes is what we deserve, 56 seconds is what we get. Shrinkflation strikes again

I have seen her screenshoted like four times in the last 24 hours. I don't use this platform often, but thought that behavior was reserved for people you are making fun of so they don't get the engagement?
comment in response to post
Thanks Scott - I don't fully understand how blue sky works but I thought screen shots were for when you don't want to give the original poster engagement, or they are not on the site. Why aren't people replying to her original posts?

Godot is a nice game engine. Open-source, well documented.

Morbidly funny how the corporate statements try to use individual pharmacists like human shields. As if the integrity of the individual at the counter is the issue - not the mandate for share holder value any (non monetarily) cost.

Oh, did they Scooby-Doo the mask off of pronatalism and find that it was eugenics all along?

Wait, what did I miss?

As a dragon is probably how a gecko like that would imagine itself

What do you want to make? If you want to try it out without investing in the machine right away there may be a makerspace in your area that has one you could play around with.

It's hard to remember what it was like to be excited for new tech. Now it feels like every single device has a pointless microcontroller shoe horned in so it can sell data, seek rent, and ewaste itself when they want you to buy a new one.

Sure would be nice if banning desperation actually worked.

I guess Erik the Red should be proud his naming trick is still getting people to buy in.

What is the context here? Is this about Canada again?

People need a pill for that? Seems like the world is overflowing with sociopaths.

What is this from?

You don't see me. I can use consumables! ...Ok, you have a point.

So far my only complaint is the limited storage. I want to hoard.

They want all of reality to be as sterilized as their imagination. ....and it's cheap

Can confirm. When you put them on they change the way you see the world. The steam becomes a path.

Accessible and pleasing system design is part of my work, games are interactive systems with highly constrained rules. They make really good thought experiments for making other types of interactive systems better. I LOVE trying to figure out why they do or do not work for people.

The leveling changes bothered me. In Oblivion you learn the skills you use. There is a limit to how much you can learn... Based on just this little bit - the first (and maybe second) "Gothic" game might be worth looking at. Little jankie, little old, but has the story and visual distinctiveness.
comment in response to post
This is something I think about a lot. It's like going to the optometrist. "better... Or worse... Better... Or worse." The Oblivion - but not Skyrim is really interesting. Did you like the leveling system in Oblivion?

That was written by a man with a deep fear of inadequacy. He lives with the terror that an experienced partner will recognize how pathetic he is. He doesn't realize this, so, In an attempt to sooth himself he announces it to the world.

Cool! The Chicago river has a crazy history. Being reversed because we polluted it so badly and all that. Last year some chicagoriver.org people told me me that the city still has combined sanitary and storm sewers. So apparently when there is heavy rain it receives overflow raw sewage.

I am a standard cis white man in appearance. My house used to be owned by a republican. Thursday a door knocker came to my house to ask if I was going to vote for their local candidate. I told her I didn't know - because my wife makes all those decisions.

Screaming dude with megaphone is really the perfect image to have here. Some vigilante in my area writes "mute" on them with a permanent marker.

No reason to be sorry, it worked out. I remember how crazy it made me feel. Now I worry about other people whenever gaslight comes up. Everyone in your life can be telling you to run. Even professionals... And you still wont. Be careful out there.

You might also like 12tone. I don't understand most of it, but I love having it explained to me. m.youtube.com/@12tone

I'm probably a little sensitive about it. Was in a relationship with a master gaslighter once. She was so good I thought I was the perpetrator. Got a therapist, got a couples counselor. They both told me "RUN!" ex convinced me they were lying. Stuck around for almost a full year. They were so right.

That is a terrifying sentence. How long after the marriage was it before you first realized?
comment in response to post
I used to be with it. Now what "it" is is weird and scary

This is fantastic! Ears: Right: pointed Left: pointed (too)

It's the blue MLM, for boys.

Was that joy or terror? I can't tell.

On bsky? Why? That does not seem like a good strategy.

I'm proud of people. We got a subzero fridge off of market place with a bunch of other crap. I consider that a rich people device and it is the very antithesis of a smart fridge. Exceptionally dumb and 650lb of chunky. No screens, no gimmicks. Just an overbuilt refrigeration loop and compressor.

She looks so pleased, I love it.

I think they did that, it's called tempeh. I have always thought of it as Tofu - but gritty. Looks like a suet cake. Definitely not as fun to eat if you don't prepare it well.

That can't be a real post. What does that guy even think a "Gorge Floyd moment" is?

Ignorant question, I had to look this one up. By "ear" you mean that they write in a way that sounds good when spoken?

Uncredited ass. That would not be a surprise at this point. ...and checking would mean looking at it... and knowing what his actual ass looks like. His entire history of nudes could be plagiarized. This would also not be surprising. Additional dimensions of disgusting.

Wait. He stole ass and ball pics, too?? I missed that part of the video. That seems like a type of content even the least skilled or competent man could create.

I'm on the internet partly because the rural Midwest is ideologically lonely some times. I also have no interest in moving into a city. They are nice to visit, but definitely want my isolation back after a day or two.
