I really like German bread. Hairy Bikers visited Germany on the Bakeation series. Some of the German bakes were fab. We have cooked the Bierocks many times in the house. As the name suggests, great with a beer.

Yes! Got a very decent bit of wholemeal sourdough to go with it. Your dinner sounds very appealing (as I thought last night)

Democracy is much more than the election itself isn't it? You need the whole accountability and disclosure package along with independent judiciary and protection of minority opinions and freedom to disagree and question. Electing leaders is a small part. Often overlooked.

Nice. What you doing to the cabbage? Pasta Puttanesca here. Heavy on the anchovies, the olives and the chilli because I need a savoury flavour bomb. No booze

Looks like a great place for a walk. Bet he’s straight in front of the fire when he gets home. I’m avoiding going out. Far too cold in a wheelchair.

You should.

Well, a late start for me this morning. Forgot the game was an early kick off and tuned in to find we’d lost. “Concentrate on The League now” and all that. Best of luck against Stockport tomorrow. Hopefully you won’t need it and a few will get a run out. Sick of this freezing weather.

That looks and sounds superb

Good hard frost up here. Eerily still. Heavy snow due tonight. Yes I agree, perhaps a good time to play The Blues. I expect Boro to perform today. If we are serious for promotion we need to win games like this and push on a run. They always used to say Boro go down with the Christmas decorations…

Peppers, sausages and penne with a very spicy Arrabiata sauce. Parmesan. No booze

To be honest I’ve not had an excessively overindulgent Christmas. Enjoyed what I’ve had though!
