The DNC's advantage is that don't have to accomplish much of anything. Everyone knows they're out of power.
In this lull, the essential thing to do is to create a vision for what it means for them to be back in power.
That vision must include homes, jobs, and healthcare above and before all else.

My first good job was in a record store.
We used to play a game called ‘Big Song’, where we’d casually use song lyrics conversationally in order to plant ohrwurms. You scored points by catching them humming your plant later in the shift.
I was an easy mark but also pretty good at planting.
