I would like to live in a world where people take to the streets in opposition to AI. However we live in a world where Genocides rarely get people up in arms. So, idk.

I'm tired. This is just a ramble. My personal belief is that all AI should be banned outright. This is increasingly not seeming realistic.

Online there seems like there is a lot of people who oppose AI. Which may seem like there will be push back. However this doesn't seem to translate into the real world. AI usage is acceptable in modern society. AI products are presented to the public joyfully. This is wrong.

Even if it doesn't go that far, it's already being used in business. Scam products have AI customer support who never stop to think "Is what I'm doing wrong." Corporations without human roadblocks, without whistle blowers ect. That's already a bleak future.

If we keep allowing AI to replace elements of our personal life. It will next replace elements in business. Then government. Military. Those human road blocks are removed, and then you just need a handful of nutjobs.

During the cold war many mad man decided that Preemptive nuclear strikes were the only way to win the war. The only thing that stopped this was the human road blocks on every step of the way.
comment in response to post
The only thing between the worst of humanity and actively committing atrocities is the human road blocks that stand in there way. We are slowly eroding these road blocks. First we're removing people from customer support, and next from civil service.

I know that feels like a leap to go from Siri to war crimes. Each application is a small step towards a bigger goal. Soon we will have AI driven cars. Then AI Driven Taxi's, Buses, Trains. Then it's tanks and Self propelled guns, who don't question the orders to shell cities.

Loitering munitions have killed civilians. "Mistaking" buses for supply trucks or tanks. I am very skeptical of these instances being mistakes. AI gives plausible deniability to war crimes.
comment in response to post
In 2025 we live in a world where loitering munitions exist. These are AI drones who fly above an area waiting to identify a target for the munition to hit. They were trained using the same technology as is used in your phones for funny Instagram filters.

The AI used in consumer products is use to develop AI tools for military applications. It may seem like a toy, but the toy is just a tool to further technological advancement. I've always been belittled for this opinion.

They were created by the Homunculus to eliminate the need for Prosthetic hands. Hands gifted to them by the Raccoon. It's unclear why the creators never thought of this. Obviously there are issues with the Racoon. They aren't known for being controllable. Hence sheep to them was the logical move.

It's everything about them. I also live with someone who can't cook and eat beans without getting the sauce on everything. There was bean juice on the Butter Dish. Why was there bean juice on the Butter Dish?

I really wish more people would draw their own silly things. It's not about being good. It's about creating something that wouldn't exist without you.
comment in response to post
I create because without me the things I draw would exist. Someone else could draw similar images, yes. But drawing is intentions, and everyone has different intentions. Different priorities. Different settings, and different tools. Different hands.

>>The sounds of water quiet down.<< >>There is static.<< >>These words follow.<< Amelia is a creature of habit, and punctuality. Which for us creates a reliable opportunity so peak in on her having a shower. A treat for some to dream on, or a pleasant welcome to an early morning.

I suppose in a way this implies that we created ourselves and then simply forgot. Not sure how I feel about that interpretation of this ramble.

What I am saying is that we are gods Lemons.
comment in response to post
A few thousand years later, no direct control asserted by god and those people are just their own thing. Most of Humanity would be the decedents of those NPC's created to test our creators chosen.
comment in response to post
In the Old Testament God created Humans in a very "as things went" kinda way. You got Adam and eve. Then those guys needed more people to hang out with ect. You get to the points of having Gods chosen people ect with the rest of humanity just being NPC's to test them. I know that's simplifying.
comment in response to post
If Lemons outlived humanity, I don't think they would remain the lemons we know. Uncultivated and left to develop in the wild they would either die out or become something else.
comment in response to post
I think there is a chance that the lemon could outlive humanity. In a way I think this is a decent argument for the idea that if we were created by a god figure, that we as humans may have outlived out creators.
comment in response to post
The concept of an intended design being attributed to nature over time is frightening. How long until a brick is just a funny looking rock? Can humans forget that we created computers. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone.
comment in response to post
I find it terrifying that even the creators of Lemons, humans, can forget that they are god. The Gods of Lemons. Animals obviously have zero context for the existence of lemons either.
comment in response to post
This is not to say that there isn't the possibility of a god, by proxy if life was created by a god. Then that god by proxy through humans created lemons. This feels like a mute point however.
comment in response to post
We know that Humans created Lemons. However as the creators of lemons many are unaware of this fact. These people instead attribute the creation of Lemons to a god figure. Which objectively is wrong. As we created Lemons.
comment in response to post
So, if you were unaware. Humans created the Lemon. As a plant it didn't exist naturally. We, humans, created it from a different plant. A plant we forced into becoming a Lemon. Which then led to the creation of Limes and Oranges ect.
