For: Public transit, walkable/bikeable communities, more housing. And dogs.
I learned that bikes are mobility devices during my recovery from a severe femur break.

I like the idea of these. The bare metal plates are terrifying in the rain. Wet metal + bike is how I broke my femur.

Oh you mean operator in terms of the TTC and not the train operator.
Yeah theyâd need any future trains to have the same door layout.
comment in response to

On line 1 we spent years installing ATC. The trains already stop at specific locations - we have stickers on the ground showing where the doors will land. So no change there.

Certainly. People at track level can shut down a large part of the network putting thousands of travelers out onto the streets.
These delays get lots of publicity and further push people away from using the TTC - lovingly known as Take The Car during its failures.

We have a significant number of fires at track level as well. A big cause of these are litter being thrown or otherwise getting onto the tracks. Doors would help prevent.

Not only at stations but frequently at stations.

Increased reliability due to less trash fires. EMS, TPS, and just general societal benefits on top of increased reliability from less injuries at track level. That increased reliability then having knock on effects of increased transit use. Itâs such a no brainer.

I was surprised by how much I liked Uncut Gems. Perfect ending.

I work in the industry and Moonlight is the film I look at saying âhow did the producers read this script and know they could make this film?â
Incredible casting, direction, acting, editing. Truly mindblowing.

Mulholland - every time I watch it I think Iâm understanding it better. Then somewhere in Act 3 Iâm like âlol nvmâ

Occasional enforcement by Toronto police. I believe itâs under the same parks bylaw as High Park is. Itâs a flat fine so going 5 over on a bike is a bigger fine than 15 over in a car would be on a regular road

Business owners are known to massively overestimate the percentage of their customers that arrive by car. Bathurst has explicitly been under expedited planning for a year. I am simply no longer sympathetic to Torontoâs constantly putting everything off for another round of consultations.

These rapidto plans are already far behind schedule. The last thing we need is to slow them down.

And theyâve been free to communicate to their city councilors since the accelerated review vote happened at council in July 2024.
The antis want this to seem as if it came suddenly out of nowhere. Hardly.

Toronto, where everybody just wants government to go a bit slower. Opening bus lanes in 2025 that were planned to be opened in 2021 is just far too fast.

Why do you keep saying 7?
218 republicans voted. There are 220 republicans in the House of Representatives.
I also think youâre just as wrong about the speaker being able to close voting whenever they like. Whatâs your source on that?

I agree with this. The only spot in my regular rides that I go on the sidewalk is mt pleasant when I need to go north of Moore Ave and I do it because I indeed donât want to die. It shouldnât be normalized as an alternative to safe infra.

I bike everywhere. If bikes are legally allowed on sidewalks drivers will be even more aggressively entitled and violent towards cyclists on the road.
Cycling and walking are not compatible uses of the narrow sidewalks in much of Toronto.
comment in response to

Bikes should not be on sidewalks. Itâs bad for cyclists and for pedestrians. I think this is the majority view for everyone except âget outta my wayâ drivers.
