I'm also part of the team that put together the Yellowhead Institute's newly released Treaty Map: a general use learning & teaching tool aimed at providing Indigenous perspectives on historical treaties in Canada since 1763 (w/ a few earlier treaties also covered).

Oh my gosh, you’re my hero! Thanks to this map, I learned that our home, built in 1806, is on land that was part of a Crawford Purchase Agreement (1783). Apparently the agreement was concluded—but when Crawford died a few months later, his replacement failed to respect the British commitment. 😞
