Fun fact, the doll in your profile picture from Sailor Moon scared me as a child 😂😂 Love your reading picks, and I hope whatever you choose is amazing 💕
It’s a steamy, drama-filled romance about a teenage girl who’s also a survivor of some pretty shitty events. And she’s thrust into the opulent and treacherous world of the wealthy Royal family. Their last name is actually Royal. I def recommend so far. 👌🏽
Babel by R.F. Kuang (amazing!) and just started Everyone Who is Gone is Here by Jonathan Blitzer as it’s very timely with the immigration EOs signed this week.
Personally I'm enjoying it, she shifts in writing style between two characters which is a nice artistic choice but I'm not a fan of one of the styles and wish she would just stick to her usual beautiful prose throughout, otherwise it's very good imo
Oh interesting! I'm glad you're enjoying it 💕 Thank you for the info 😊 I am usually on the fence with dual perspectives and changes in writing... but I still want to give this one a go eventually~
Murder Road by Simone St James! Needed something to tide me over until the wife finishes Onyx Storm and let's me have it 😅 not really feeling it after falling in love with a new series but it's an easy bingeable read 📚💙
Well I found this little used bookstore by chance and was on a budget and this book fit perfectly into my budget and I asked for a book like this. lol I took it as a sign too 🫶🏻
Currently reading through the Sydney Rye Mystery series by Emily Kimelman. A woman and her dog, Blue, exact vigilante justice on evildoers. The bad guys die, the dog doesn’t. Good read so far!
