Some other Switch 2 observations:
- The "Welcome Tour" app is surprisingly cool (one minigame reminded me of Mario Paint) and it is insane that Nintendo is charging for it
- Metroid looks and feels fantastic
- Cyberpunk 2077 runs at 40fps in performance mode while docked (oof)

Really, Nintendo? REALLY?!
40 fps docked at the cap is going to feel like trying to play GoldenEye when you turn around too quickly and you feel space and time start to separate
Just because I know the Deck clearly has more value doesn't mean I don't play consoles, the Switch 2 is just late/underpowered for what it is
And I used to play my VIC-20 on a black and white tv. I'm so glad for high refresh rates, and 30fps these days feel way less optimal to me.

That's a big improvement on the 30fps on 60hz we had for years and a great experience for handheld gaming.
Yeah it should have *much* better hardware to justify a new expensive console
Oh, and mods. There's mod support.
I'm not sure how that performance compares to something like a Steam Deck.
(I’m sure devs will also find ways to wring out more power, but not that much more.)
40FPS at 4K is impressive for what the console is, but if it's 40FPS at 1080 or lower that's not great.
They absolutely didn't and just bought into it
Hell even everyone started accepting PS5 Pro.
Nintendo has always (and I think intentionally) made their consoles on gimmicks and their IP.
But eh, I'm not a N-fanboi; those people often act like a cult and throw their money at the company like they are a new messiah or something.
Also, it always seems like cyberpunk is never truly optimized for consoles (not ps4 level bad, but still)
If anything is the first switch tax.. that would be Mario Kart.
Steam always throws it on sale so when I got a PC I nabbed it for like $35-40 all in.
Today it is $80
Without the dlc it’s $60
A CD Projekt mandou bem demais
And if its with the DLC then even then, pricing it so high for a shiet version is just wild
A thing that Nintendo does not have
It is being sold for $44 on epic rn.
So actually cheaper than Steam has it right now ON SALE.
