It's been fully memory-holed, but Marco Rubio was elected to the Senate as a Tea Party candidate. He'll back whichever tendency within the Republican Party that seems ascendant and likely to move him ahead. Right now, that's fascism.

A stunning assault on the First Amendment
Before Rubio's confirmation, senators and pundits acted as though he was a "sane," "rational," "normal," "moderate" nominee. He's constantly showing himself to be a right-wing extremist.

Same type of ads ran against Chris Cristy(?).
from what I recall it was more about Crist's very soft endorsement of the 2009 stimulus
Great :(
Will any Democratic senator weigh in on their utter cluelessness about their colleague?
I dunno what's scarier; Vance, the true believer, or Rubio, the broken opponent desperate to avoid upsetting Trump.
His role as a puppet started because he couldn't keep from spending the party AMEX card on personal expenses.
How is that a person you support?
THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT, UNIVERSE!
Rubio, Johnson, Graham, et al.
Men who eagerly submit to ritual humiliation.
Men who are devoid of values.
Men who will either emulate or enable Trump's psychopathy.
It's not Realpolitik. It's Realpsychopathik.

They were so radical in fact they probably cost Republicans the Senate in 2010
Totally forgot that.
Talk me out of it!
