seeing libs continue to yell at anyone frustrated with dems, i am remembering when "bend the knee" was in the discourse and the response to it was "what is this shit? you think you're just ENTITLED to our votes? this isn't how you win voters over!" and then failing to think just a liiiittle harder
Comments
Compared to the far more likely alternative of the Dems running an even worse campaign in 2028 and getting obliterated even harder.
..might help folks cope with the insanity:

I am a former Dem who now votes Green.
And voting alone won't solve our problems.
It's 99% (poor & working class) against 1% elitists.
It's Class War/Struggle, Not Culture War.
The 99% people must unite against the 1%
#ClassStruggle #ClassSolidarity 👍
Allowing Trump to run was how the election got lost, that wasn't our choice
I need to be better at catching typos. But yeah, it's just a mess. All that had to happen was to not give Presidents a free pass on crimes but they wouldn't even do that.
Blaming the people who got shit on by the Dems for a Dem loss is just, wildly inappropriate
Seriously if this is the shit you're going to bring to the table then you deserve the Democrats, you're trying even less than they are.
how could anyone even defend doing so
Those who aren't fond of the Capitalism Party are continually blamed for the loss of the left-wing of the party to the right-wing of the party.
Is all this amounts to. Hold your reps accountable for abandoning leftists to persue more fascists and folks like you who goose step along blindly.
Option 3 will remain until the quality of the offer* improves enough to ensure it doesn't.
(*For example, an offer to not be punched is required for an offer improvement rather than something such as "we'll only punch you once, instead of twice, like them!')
People (and primates) will often rather choose *greater hardship* than a continued unfair situation because breaking someone has the chance to result in a fix to something that is broken.

Until this is understood, until the Dems run on *reducing oligarchical power* things will continue to be broken. Sometimes faster than others.
How about YOU grow up since you just lost so hard you destroyed the country?
And there’s the voter. That’s you. You have one vote. It’s not a strategy thing. It’s totally a “should” thing.
You are mad that more of them didn’t meet “should vote for Kamala Harris”
"Well then that's your fault for not voting harder!"
Ponies? Grow the fuck up, Disney adult.
Saying “republicans are worse than I am actually” might be true on some level but it is literally a terrible campaign slogan that inspires nobody except those who were already voting Dem.
Test the mouth feel of a 9 you worthless shitbag.
-an end to us support for the ongoing genocide of the palestinian people
-a robust public health response to the pandemic that's killed millions of people, instead of just pretending it's over and shutting disabled people out of public life forever
-reform to the staggering cruelty of US border policy
-a plan to address the crisis in cost of food, housing, healthcare, in *everything* people need to buy
-those fucking checks the biden campaign promised
i don't see how the dems buyin' us ponies is more important than those things
Such a contemptuous attitude to take against vulnerable peoples, and you wonder why people were turned away...
Then, if you don't understand or sympathize with them after they explain themselves in their own words, hand them a loaded gun and tell them what you said to Colin up above.
like there's not a single issue, not a single principle, that wouldn't get this treatment.
I’m saying not voting helps a fascist psychopath destroy everything you believe in and is a very bad idea. That’s it.
Tell me again how we "just sat out" of this one?
Don't get me wrong, we didn't show up for Harris, esp fellow white ppl. AND a lot of us still couldn't chose.
I have lived in:
- A "safe" blue district that had a Democratic Rep who went 9/11 truther
- A district that had a Republican run unopposed
- A district that required you to drive past a nearby polling place to a location with poor transit access
Without moving.
also: if every leftie from dem-soc to commie who was pissed at kamala over palestine still promised their vote, she still wouldn't have won. *you lost normies*. https://bsky.app/profile/spacetwinks.bsky.social/post/3lgojr3cn4s2y
There’s some solid logic.
it would be cool if hard left vote withholders were big enough to affect the election. they weren't. they aren't. never were. they were simply more visible, which angers you.
*you lost normies*. you lost the regular people.
you don't win on "everyone SHOULD vote for dems because republicans are worse". whine about it all you want, that won't change it, and us lefties AREN'T big enough to swing things.
you lost much, much bigger, much more important votes.
we're just your punching bag for that.
But if you didn’t vote you didn’t just stick it to the party. You stuck it to all of us.
Then in 2024 he was screaming at the Harris campaign to dump her far left strategists, which she did.
Then he blamed the loss on the left anyway.
dems lost *much larger* groups.

neat! now consider how it feels for others.
They killed the enthusiasm that was starting to build then were shocked that voter turnout was so low.
Im not a huge obama fan, he was another war criminal, but to say he got nothing done is kinda wrong
maybe other democrats should start taking notes
'we SHOULD just win' doesn't win you anything
He didn't *govern* as a progressive, but he definitely ran as one.
don't boo, vote!
