My Harris Teeter, grocery store, has a bar in the store with wine glass holders built into the shopping cart! I did not think things could get better until I learned that instead of coffee some bookstores serve wine.

We were in Barcelona last summer and across from our hotel was a launderette. Nothing too shocking about that, space in apartments is at a premium in that city and we saw many launderettes. What set it apart was that it had a small lending library AND it also had a well stocked bar. Genius!

I went to one in D.C. over twenty years ago; best part was it was open 24 hours! Not sure if they served that whole time, but they were also a cafe.
