While Trump cuts Ukraine funding, Orban is effectively vetoing European efforts to make up for it. Trump acts as Putin's puppet in the White House. Orban acts as his puppet within the EU.

Would it get a unanimous vote?
They should certainly be lobbying hard for it.

Time for a workaround through enhanced cooperation of willing member states (and non-member states).
The belief that a rogue member state would turn itself around has always held the EU back from doing what it should when there was only 1 rogue.
It was appropriated by Congress

With Trump in the White House...
I assume 'we' means the UK has no option but toe the line on Trump's demands for those weapons.
Note: this strategy also allowed the inclusion of Canada.
And Turkey, if Erdoğan deems it to be in his interest.
We could invoke Article 7, but Orban knows the Slovaks won't vote for it, so he can consistently put the🖕up to the rest of the EU and meddle with Ukrainian support plans
Starmer was right, it's up to individual nations to push on

I remember when previous UK prime ministers such as Cameron and Johnson have cultivated and allied themselves with Orban against EU unity.
Europe can find a way - the situation is too serious to tolerate Putin apologists any longer.
In fact replace them with Ukraine
And that should go to any EU country with we love Putin badges on.
Then sanction & put tarrifs up to 30% on every thing
Not something I'd want to do but I am sick to death of this hard right wing tosser
Unless a totally new EU were to be created, excluding several countries at the same time, there will be no way for the UK to rejoin hastily. There will always be someone to veto, e.g. because the Kremlin asks them to.
The sooner everyone realizes that, the better.
Please fasten your seatbelt. We have a little turbulence ahead!
