Please enjoy these old ticket stubs at my parents' house. Which show are you going back in time to see? That Jeff Buckley/Juliana Hatfield one is kind of calling to me today.

Did Garbage open for Smashing Pumpkins? Because I saw that lineup in SF at roughly the same time and Shirley gave one of the 5 greatest live performances I’ve ever witnessed.
Buckley for sure. And I'd definitely be up for seeing that era Oasis. Saw Ben Folds solo in, I think, 2001 or 02. Very good, but would have loved to see him with the band!
That HORDE was spectacular (I went to the Chicago area one). Neil Young, Beck, Morphine, Primus, Toad the wet sprocket, Ben Folds Five, etc. Big tstorm killed most of the power in the middle of Neil Young, they kept playing, roadies turned the monitors out to the crowd. Next song: Like A Hurricane
(there's a clip of neil young talking to kurt loder at the end and john popper is standing by, i'd love to have been in the room for those two's political discussions)
I was at that REM Fleet Center show. Grant Lee Buffalo opened. The sounds was so echoey that when they did Fuzzy we were convinced he was singing "I'd like to eat your pussy."
I have this selection 1994-1999 from the soon after-defunct Liberty Lunch in Austin, its passing pretty much meant the death spiral for easygoing, livable Austin. All the advance tickets were sold at Waterloo Records, which thankfully is still around (because it's not Downtown).
All of my cheap Ticketmaster tickets are faded to almost illegibility, so I can't back up my brag about seeing Pink Floyd twice (once as a young teen at the Astrodome and the second time as a stoner at Rice Stadium)
I have to say I have no memory of that being a news story (I've been in the Austin area since 1990) but one of my friends nearly came to blows with one of their asshole security tough guys at the 1994 Helmet show (he was kicked out and went to see the Cranberries at the Austin Music Hall instead)
And I was at the REM show, which was on Yom Kippur, I’d taken the red line directly from services at Harvard Hillel after an epic fight about it with my mom
I think my sister was at that Cranberries show, she got beer spilled on her. I saw Veruca Salt not at that show but when they opened for Bush around then
it's the 95 r.e.m. show for me - i'd made a point of seeing every tour up until that one and was always mad that i missed it. second choice Buzzcocks because omg
As a kid I read H.P. Lovecraft, and now I think "gotta leave clutter in New England behind so other people can enjoy the atmospherics" so I'm going to be buried with a tombstone
My mom recently gave me a box of tax returns from about thirty years ago. My first job as a busboy where I made about $600. I didn’t even know I had to file taxes!
That Radiohead ticket just gave me strong flashbacks to Tibetan Freedom Concert 1998 (I think??) at RFK when the lady got struck by lightning and their set got canceled so they played basically the entirety of OK Computer at a secret show at the 9:30 Club

1 trip to Liberty Lunch to see The Afghan Whigs in 1996. It was my honeymoon and we drove cross country and this was one of our checkpoint stops.
(Had to verify my brain before posting)
