And I include the word "autism" it comes with large discount, as I don't exist and am nothing and why would anyone charge for something that not's happening.
The above is not a query, why is everyone asking.
Am I reiterate here.
I just watched an “art director” (zero art background or education) ignore an excellent concept artist THAT WAS LITERALLY ON OUR STAFF AND NOT BUSY and use bad AI image generator crap for a game proposal… that was rejected. That game studio then laid off that excellent artist but keep the director.
somehow people are getting away with selling Ai art to Art companies to be used in marketing and on product packaging. Books are Ai written. everything is overwhelmingly AI. Things made by real people are so much more valuable than computer made slop with 6 fingers.
We watched an old Muppet show today, with Dudley Moore, where he used MaMA, an automatic orchestra robot. Kind of reminded me of the whole AI discussion.
oh, you generate text with AI? sure, you can do that, but your customers all know that mass-produced products are inferior. if you want to damage your brand and destroy consumer confidence, that's your business. i'll just find another client who appreciates quality. good luck, i guess.
The poetry that my 2013 generator made was fun because it was clearly machine-writing and had its own quirky, somewhat-nonsensical flavor. It wasn't hiding what it was. Today's AI tries to be human and falls short.
I use AI in my job a few times a week when I’m trying to write something new using old documents. Much like “the internet” in the ‘90’s it has the advantage of finding things much quicker.
Can I please, please steal this for some project or another? I can give credit if it’s ever published, which I doubt it would be. It’s an awesome title. Dunno what it would exactly be, per se, but I think it could be good.
Maybe we just write our own little stories and publish links to them under the same hash tag for now. If you write someplace like WattPad or Tumblr or whatever you can post it there, then link it here where people can peruse the posts and read at their leisure.
I don't think you gotta steal anything, just think of it as free writing. Like the SCP Foundation is just a bunch of people writing stories in a more or less similar universe?
What sort of stories would you expect or hope to see? The vibe I'm feeling is very "Near Future", cyber-lite solar punk, with the the overall flavor being dependent on how much grit and grime the author feels like including in their addition to the collection.
A string of vignettes and novellas depicting various people living in the world after capitalism has more or less collapsed under the weight of its own tumorous growth. Some corps still cling to territory like feudal barons but there's lots of open space they can't feasibly control anymore.
Further out from major city centers you've got your Cults and your 'Steads (short for homesteads). Cults are Cults, whether they're worshipping God(s), Guns, or AnCap philosophies. 'Steads are anywhere people gather to make communities and live, they're open to trade and sometimes taking people in.
Apart from the perquisite government remnant factions and militia types you'd have nascent Megacorp style conglomerates running cities like feudal states and using the surrounding lands for industrial manufacturing and food production. These hubs are fed workers from satellite towns via mass transit
