Please can you stop removing blurbs from the back of books and replacing them with praise quotes from people who’ve read it.

So many great book designs ruined by marketers.
Absolute game changer when I discovered this. Do they tell you enough? Usually not. Find a friend with more time on their hands and a willingness to read it for you to tell you if it’s worth your time.

However, I can't even get my books on bookshop .org so what do I know?

As they say, don't judge a book by its cover. Judge it by its blurb because that's its job.
But hardcovers hurt when you fall asleep when reading lying down ... that self-injurious phenomenon otherwise known as "Bookface."
