Seeing things live is so different than seeing them on TV. I couldn't believe how much fun I had.
I've been leading a weekly in person and casual drawing workshop for some friends who "don't draw". It's been received super well and it's a nice way to meet and not drink/be creative as berlin grows dark and cold.
re: home-baked pretzels. Yummmmmmmmmm....
The atmosphere was great. I know very little about rugby, but the French team won!
It had lived unused in a dusty basement for years. #Miniature #Dollhouse #IttyBitty
Partly so I can read the letters in French that I’m drawing from for my current Verse Novel in-revision.
My log cabin dollhouse was built for me by my Uncle when I was a baby. He died when I was 2, and it sat unfinished in my grandparents basement until just a few years ago.
"My other dollhouse is a log cabin."

Learning #GravitySketch for #Quest3, need to master SubD editing tools.
I never tried VR 3d modeling, it must be a surreal experience!
Did some research but it seems like yet another creative rabbit hole I lack time for right now. 😁
I honestly think in the future there will be more homes with 3d printers rather than paper printers.
As for "can't draw", I beg to differ, considering that piece you posted.
Good for you to do art for the joy.
Yes, that would be the WorldCon, and I'm going there too.
What kinds of topics do you like exploring?
The magazine part was actually for me to find copies of a windows mobil magazine whic mostly turned up empty handed except for 1 buyers guide from 2006
history in such an interesting way! Often he focuses on a common item (eg salt, or cod
fish), and uses it as a lens with which to view the whole world.
Sounds like a deal!
When I go to some board gaming events, I'm familiar with some bbq chains now. 😁
I've got recommendations for you in Austin and Memphis. Is there a BBQ scene up North?
We must protect our National Parks. They are a treasure.
I just checked the tag #rockhounding & wow, there are a lot of rockhounders here!
Hoping these threads help generate conversation OTHER than work-related self-promo plus help connect people, encourage quieter posters.
More fun for me, too. ❤️
We found sharks teeth and dolphin bones. I'd love to go west and do a dig.
Where do you hunt?

When I was growing up, my parents only spoke English to us kids because they didn't want us to grow up with accents. I understand why they did it (difficult experiences during the war) but I find it much harder to learn a language as an adult.
I have a biiiiig hobby graveyard and was surprised that this one stuck.
I am surprised every day when I return to it.
The exam is next Sunday.
So torn about THIS one, though: I bought this resin kit 5 years ago but still haven't used it.
@jridpath.bsky.social & I went to a pasta-making class many years ago during a family trip in Italy.
And yes, the pasta was delicious! Bonus points that the kids loved helping. Using the hand roller is super fun and harkens back to the play-doh days! 🍝🤌
