It seems like the courts don’t matter to him. So, I don’t think anyone can say that for sure. I want to believe this but the judiciary is failing to understand understand the moment. Except maybe 2 judges. Those aren’t good odds.

1. There are high courts in authoritarian countries captured by the dictator.

2. GOP already has MAGA on SCOTUS. Others that will be bullied with threats. Final members will be replaced through impeachment or other means.

I remain concerned that without unprecedented protests from Republican voters to impeach Trump for ignoring the Supreme Court, there is no legal, i.e. non-violent, path to end Trump's tyranny. I also respectfully disagree Trump "long mistakenly believed" his weaponizing claims; he's gaslighting.

I wish I had your optimism, but so far I've seen judges say from the bench they are merely frustrated with the administration. There's been no formal reprimand, sanction, or punishment. Only some TROs with no enforcement monitors. I have zero confidence they are following the TROs.

I'm not so optimistic. The Supreme Court gave Presidents (Trump) immunity for 'executive actions', so Trump will claim that all his actions are/were 'executive actions' and even his claim is above judicial review.
