time and space are just emergent properties, relativistic principles, there is no space-time
gravity is not a distortion in a field, its the motion of something of lesser "size" and more abundant than the elementary particles, black holes don't distort light, the shortest (cont)

There are things we fundamentally don't understand about quantum mechanics in terms of the back-end workings: how a wavefunction "collapses" and what exactly makes entanglement work, etc. But we know it DOES work and we can calculate how. We're not out at sea with this stuff. Not at all.

Very interesting. I once read, and it really stuck with me, that quantum particles are the only place we know in the universe where true randomness and unpredictability exist, but it sounds like that isn't the case? I wonder what implications, if any, this has on the concept of free will

Current AI/LLM is way too agreeable, it's just likely to reinforce false beliefs. In theory it could be trained to identify the user's logic errors, but I wouldn't rely on it.

Agreed. Current AI (~LLMs) doesn't have understanding of or cognition about the actual questions and facts. It just predicts what the next most likely word should be and supplies it.

Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) can help as it's notionally doing more of an "expert system" approach but...
