Clearly you have never read the *guy who is a programmer encountering a painter for the first time* 'wow im getting a lot of programmer vibes from this painting thing' article.
For all those "...then I pointed out... and that shut them up!" type anecdotes, I always wonder how the person they were talking to would describe how the conversation went...
Good point because there have definitely been times when someone talking to me said something so stupid that I couldn’t begin to reach for a response and I ended up just staring blankly.
This is one where the comment is radioactively stupid, but Mr Graham may not be stupid. He may just be galactically sycophantic and hope Musk will see his comment and give him some money or just a pat on the head.
I saw a tiktok today that said, completely credulous, that Elon shoes up at each of his companies once a week, determines the biggest problem they’re facing, and then solves it. The comments were basically hagiographical. Absolutely insane levels of stan culture.
Yeah, the people who want to earn money in the system called capitalism have to put up with fucked up people as CEOs. Every single C-suite executive I worked with was a piece of shit.
Not relevant, because Musk isn't smart. He's a vaguely competent con-artist who was born rich and made like, two lucky bets. Everything he's touched BESIDES SpaceX and Tesla (both of which rely heavily on government money and a lack of competition) is vaporware at best.
(And of course, he bought his way into Tesla, he didn't start it. And SpaceX is organized specifically to keep him away from real decisions, because he's an idiot even when he's NOT high as a kite).

Rather than "I said something that was laughably absurd to an English woman, who concluded I'm an idiot"
Man is as dumb as rocks.
