Wait... what?
This is no small victory! Congrats to Montana! A few more of these and the GOP will be arguing against state rights.
We have the solutions and the resources. The only problem is the rich.
Maybe SCOTUS should consider following Montana Supreme Court’s example of jurisprudence.
We’d all benefit from a Court that bases its decisions on American jurisprudence instead of a justice’s personal beliefs.
I do remember that Gianforte guy who proudly body slammed a reporter. And the trump went wild.
For many years I worked with a guy from Missoula. He was the biggest prick I have ever encountered. I put it down to insecurity (and being a ginger)

Glad to see the state supreme court didn't gut the constitution.
"The legislature shall provide for the protection of the air, water and other natural resources of the state from pollution, impairment and destruction." Could include a stable climate?

It strains the boundaries of reason to presume that a state constitution would’ve had an equitable remedy during the late-Devonian or end-Permian…

Idaho on the other hand has always suffered from right wing crazies. Might be all the lead mines.
(The other time was affirming an injunction against the state's ban on gender affirming care for minors)
Hope to see more of this by other states too.
