Is there a specific explanation for planets rotating one way or the other ? Or is it just something that is settled in the early phases of their formation ?
Wow- if I were still teaching high school....I can think of so many ways to use this in a classroom...and so many questions to ask students to think about.
The mass they gathered was moving (orbiting the Sun), so when they gathered it, they began to spin faster. Larger planets tend to rotate faster because of this

Well, they actually just reclassified it but it feels like murder
Also, how long does Venus take to make a rotation around the sun?
1 Venus year = 224,7 days
To every day, turn, turn turn
There is a season...
