We've blown well past "should grind Congress to a halt with every procedural tool available," and are now well into "a democracy fighting for its life would have its elected members physically occupying the floors of Congress and refusing to leave."

The betrayal I feel at these folks just rubber stamping insane cabinet picks and heading off to recess. That hurts so much worse than losing the election.
Only saying- these do nothing Democrats need to not count on our votes if they don't lift a finger to stop this madness. If they leave sooner than the next election, I'm good with that too.
Yet the Dem senators haven’t reached the stage of “don’t vote FOR the most venal and worst cabinet nominees since Warren G. Harding’s band of thieves.”
I think we've wandered into *time to occupy the streets in Washington* and fucking hope the military decides that they aren't going to do the Tiannanman square thing.
I honestly don't know how or where else we fight this. The Senate has abandoned us effectively.
My hair is on fire, I can’t sleep, and I can’t focus on a gd thing. And yet I keep seeing Dems on here saying, basically, “Just bc you don’t see Dem leaders posting doesn’t mean they’re not doing anything.” But it really seems like that. Why is it so hard to see significant pushback?????
Absolutely. Make them arrest Reps trying to visit the DOGE offices, force the Senate majority to drag filibustering Senators from the floor, get a Democratic AG to indict people for State law violations, ...
Do something big, create a narrative of defending democracy, and own the controversy.
It’s a shameful situation. These guys published a 900 page playbook and Trump was already president for 4 years. And yet democratic leadership is not ready for this moment.
I’ve refused financial support to the party and send it to meals on wheels instead.
Since Congress cannot suggest anything like this, we should. Can all rich people, and by that, I mean people with stock portfolios, sell their stock in the brand representing the richest man in the world, to weaken him, so that he is less wealthy and thusly less powerful? It seems worth asking now.

This is the times where the rubber hits the road.
This is EXACTLY what our Senators and Representatives need to be hearing from ALL of us right now!!!

Disgusted at the lack of leadership
