I read "Ken state" and immediately thought about Kendom. Didn't get the acorn reference, but figured it would make sense bc Kens and their acorns, amirite π π
Yea, sounda like Kendom gone bad...
Funny, I just read a book from 1986 where there was a (fictional) anecdote of cops shooting at an echo for something like 717 times bc they thought someone was firing back at them.

You can't have too much ammo, so if everyone carries some you're likely to always have some at hand. Door kickers usually have a couple pouches on the back of their carrier too, so the guy behind you can grab one if he's out.
None of these guys are carrying rifles! What is the point of having ammo at hand if there's nothing to shoot it with? This is a wholly inefficient load out!
The rifles are in the car, and usually you keep your rig/carrier ready to grab.
Efficiency doesn't matter. These guys aren't going on a 10k ruck, they're going to walk maybe a hundred steps. The extra three pounds isn't even going to be noticeable.
Like the pigs who murdered the kid who needed medical attention, were mocking the kid with the paramedics rather than rushing to a hospital, and then one of them had a tiny spark in their dormant brain and said, "You're not recording, right?!?" and the video shuts off.

If this is a typical loadout, the one in the weapon will put the total at 120

Texas Tough.
Against a gunman killing children - not so much.
They take 'em everywhere.
