If you can do it, set up spending alerts for anything over $1.00. that way anytime your card is used you get a notification. I have this set up for my debit and credit cards and it has been a lifesaver!
Noooooo! We’ve had two instances of fraudulent charges, one for prison phone cards, and the other for Southwest Airlines tickets. Like, at least steal first class tickets!
Reminds me of trying to find addresses to send thank you's for my sister's funeral flowers and discovering that one of her friends had used a stolen credit card.
We got the email as soon as the order was placed, and called our credit card company right away, so I don't think the order is even actually going to go through.
I was told that it might be a romance scammer. They get hold of stolen credit cards and send a bunch of expensive flowers to their victim to show that they have plenty of money so later on they can come back and claim to have an unexpected money issue and ask for a 'loan'.
