Interesting that if you shop at Whole Foods, a lot of money is spent making it feel like a place that respects workers and embraces progressive values, but it is not.
Costco just feels like a warehouse but they treat their workers pretty well and has rejected anti-DEI BS

That says a lot to me!
I don't deny that - compared to others - they are better for workers. But they can do better.

Whole Foods, offers real food or so they claim. Healthy natural food.
Costco offers, kinda bulk food quantities.
You are comparing apples and oranges.
That said, one clearly is more ethical
What I wish, is that Costco would steal Whole Food's thunder and start offering the same shit in bulk quantities at a far more reasonable cost.
That said.... I live on a farm and in about an hour I have to head outside
BOYCOTT them all!

Whole Foods pays more and Costco has a lower rating for LGBTQ+ equality because they’re still not caught up to everyone else there.
Costco is great, just saying it’s a bigger conversation. Amazon also went fully renewable energy is 2023.

A lesson I learned as a kid reading a description of Strider in LOTR.
'Nuff said.
I was not rolling in money, but the pay and benefits were better than similar jobs at the time. I also liked that you could put not related, household members on insurance.
Always knew that it was a FOS company.
How much could a banana cost Michael? $10?
She was denied "holiday pay" because, according to "WF corporate," a shift that began before the holiday wasn't a "holiday shift."
Mexico. It's been privately owned by the Butt family of San Antonio for ~120 years.
On Thanksgiving, they're closed because they want their employees to spend the day with family.
I am at Costco every week and am wildly loyal to them.

Not to mention the people who shop there🤦
I thought it was a total rip-off. I may be progressive, but that doesn't mean I'm stupid.
"Of course I need a gallon of ranch!"
Other stores I see massive turn overs, with a few exceptions
Costco…different story. The people who signed us up (at a store front while it was being built) are STILL there!
I leave a comment weekly
It was a long wait, we used to live near 3, then moved here where there was none without an hour drive (at least).
Now, I go there weekly. I gave up Amazon, target and Walmart. I only shop Costco, aldi and the farmer’s market.

She's been living back with me since Sept 2022.
She had no problem getting time off for signs of virus and no COVID text or Dx was required during pandemic.
We live over an hour away and get our dog food delivered. It comes via UPS.
I cannot say enough about the quality of products, the prices, the service, and the back-up when a product isn't as good as they thought it would be!!
I know the staff is consistent at my COSTCO. EVERYONE WANTS TO WORK THERE!!! RARELY DOES ANYONE LEAVE!!
LOVE MY COSTCO!

Maybe one day they'll open up some stores for us easterners.
Great place. Good value for your dollars. Employees always seem happy to work there.
And you don't need to pay top dollar for a turnip either, unless business if hacking your wallet.
Americans shouldn't have to choose between "organic" scams and carcinogen-free food.
Also fuck Bezos
Prices were up bc BIDEN, dummmmy.
I make a point to use Costco, & I make a point to use my library card 😎
I hope others can find healthy food elsewhere.
I’ve had a Costco membership for decades. But I live in a VW bus and have storage issues :) I shop there as often as I can.
If it ain't got a whole kimchi aisle, it ain't American 😤😤
Whole Foods has always been an overpriced dilettantish yuppie grocery store. FancyMart. I think people who shop there are either clueless or just dumb
There are a lot of employees at my local Costco who recognize my youngest from when I brought her in as a baby and toddler.
She'll be 13 this summer.
More limited selection of products. No one I know shops there anymore.
FUCK THE BROLIGARCHY!
(Well, sometimes unhappy with having to deal with ME, but I often feel the same way)
