Drove from north of Duluth, MN to Chicago, IL a week ago (543 miles). Never saw one station below $3.00. Zero. I’m told there were some at $2.99 in Duluth, but I didn’t see them.
$2.66
But my question is why 5 min away it's always 20-30 cents more at the most prominent station chain. Those higher stations also miraculously squeeze more gas in my vehicles than the tanks are rated for. 🤔
As a West coast resident here🇺🇸 I’m used to (but don’t like) our higher gas⛽️ prices. Last time I bought gas it was $4.10 per gallon - believe me our local tv stations would be doing a story on that.
>As of May 8, 2025, the states with the lowest average gas prices are Mississippi ($2.75 per gallon), Louisiana ($2.84 per gallon), and Alabama ($2.87 per gallon).
When someone, say someone in a leadership position - regardless of their ability to lead, claims "$1.98 gas", I would IMMEDIATELY hound them for their source of that information and WOULD NOT let up until they tell me.
I live in a historically low price area. My local stations today offer regular unleaded at between $2.50 - $3.00. Which is on track for AAA's averages.
I just spent a month on the road. Those prices beat all prices I saw over various areas in 4 states.
2.82 in Kansas was 2.60 before Trump but not going to ahh hell he has no authority to change that and that what should be discussed he is nothing rag head at best
Nobody in the northern hemisphere does. That moron keeps repeating this bs and it’s like he doesn’t realize that even his maga base can prove he lies about it every time they go to the gas station
Costco’s $3.84/gal is the least expensive around us and has recently gone up from $3.67 and the cheapest eggs around are $4.50/doz at the same store. I also hear there is a war still happening in Ukraine, what the hell? donald told us this would all be taken care of on day 1…
Calabasses California $4.82 , Menlo Park California hit close to $7.00 some parts of San Francisco where my sister lives As well. T Lies for a Living the Art of lying he owns that title.
There's a great satire on Facebook about $1.98 gas and praising Trump. Then at the end he says he had to use his grocery points to get $1.20 off per gallon. Too many words for BlueSky.
God no. Newfoundland Canada. All of our gas for the entire province has to be trucked in by ferry. Americans demand everything dirt cheap, but don’t want to work for dirt cheap wages to produce cheap goods.
What I don't get is; there's a pipeline form the Benicia refineries to West Sac about 3 mi from me. Gas barely has to be moved. But in the small town red/rural/Trump parts of NorCal gas is consistently .50/.75¢ cheaper than it is by me? And they still complain.
