(" A woman entered the ( Hell ) Fire because of a cat which she had tied , neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth . ")
The Age of a Lobster is a LitFic novel about a gay mortician and his triumph over self-neglect. The story includes themes of identity, grief, self-acceptance, & body-image.
Hey Cosy Moose, my day one here. Shamelessly jumping on your post to see if I can find some friends to keep me company. Pic of 'the Handsome One' (my ginger Ninja accomplice, Fly)
Didn't Cicero loose his head for conspiring with others to murder Julius Caesar. Octavian hunted down the assassins and avenged great Caesar.
Moral of the story - stick to reading and/or gardening if you value your life.
Do a search on autumn, Christmas, etc. If you want real life pictures try autumn ambience. If artistic add ASMR to the search. Try: Harry Potter Christmas ASMR, or autumn, etc
This platform has been a blast so far. As son as I created it, Iβve had nothing but cat pics, pics of the universe, books, science articles and people posting their love for video games. Twitter sucks!
Right? I followed Charlotte Bezzant on twitter. Sheβs a jeweler in London. A bonded pair of swans has babies in her yard every year (her backyard has a little river). I miss her posts. I deleted x- or I would beg her to come over. π¦’
Iβm still there. Iβll ask her. Sheβs on my rapidly shrinking list of people whose content Iβm still there for. It started off with 65 accounts. With Emma Mitchell / Silverpebble (here as silverpebble2) making the leap today itβs now down to 13.
And she would line it better too, I imagine. She seemed to get bullied. I should have waited and bridged. But I had so much political stuff and I just needed a break. I love that I have a garden feed and donβt have to see it. Again, thank you so much.
Went ahead and asked. Made the discovery sheβs on threads if you want to give that a go too. Iβve been holding off but I will probably go and resuscitate my Instagram account that I never used as a few people I really enjoyed moved there instead.
I am absolutely following you for the cute animal pics, but also the 'all over the place' in yr bio, that's a badge of honour far as I'm concerned π
Brand new here and Iβll see are pics of kitties, doggos, art, and book recommendationsβ¦ and I havenβt even been called a f*gg#t yet. This place is awesome!
I sometimes threaten to turn mine into slippers, but they know I donβt mean it. Plus thereβs three of them so Iβd get an odd number. Unless I get another cat ππππ
Right now Iβm deep into an NZ based cosy mystery by GB Ralph and loving it. Iβve also got a few ARCs on the to-read pile, and need to carry on with All The Colours of the Dark by Chris Whitaker.
Def recommend:
The Cracked Mirror - Chris Brookmyre
The List of Suspicious Things - Jennie Godfrey
The Fellowship of the Puzzlemakers - Samuel Burr (among many others)
Lover of books, two of my favourite authors here too. Iβve a dog living with me too. Heβs mental and called Tetley. Both fans of pubs and the Yorkshire Dales in no particular order π
Hereβs another kitty pic for you! Tonks was not loving being forced into the Halloween costume lol it came off immediately after the pic was taken π€£π€£π€£
Iβm not so sure. I think even with thumbs, theyβd enjoy having servants. Especially considering they ignore the catflap in favour of having a personal door opener.
Iβm so sorry - he was a handsome boy. Hopefully heβs having the best time in the field of eternal mousies. It hurts so much when they go. Sending hugs and purrs from my boys.
I just joined β¦ someone said Bluesky is a liberal love fest and Iβve never downloaded an app so quickly in my life! Very happy to see her description was very accurate ππππ

Even Substack was getting dicey. ( strict and quick enforcement is the answer βwhich SS never seem to have)

If it weren't for thumbs, cats would rule the world.
The cats I've known would prefer slaves.
