i am really, really going to enjoy getting to see Elon Musk learn for the first time in his entire life that capital needs labor, labor does not need capital. he is convinced every worker in the government, if not the entire united states, needs their job more than their job needs them

Without government enforcement of his property rights, Elon would be worth zero.
They’re going for a full crash and burn.

NO ONE can afford to have the govt go out of business. That doesn't lead to bankruptcy, it leads to violence, economic collapse, and civil war.
whether it's factories, hand tools, or the money to have food and housing while doing longer-term work like writing books or software.
The question is who owns it - individual workers, workers' collectives, or capitalists.
We don't need Elon🙂
Think about it. What has he ever struggled for? He’s never had a moment where he eschewed groceries for rent. Put off doctor visits for years even when he was sick and needed one. He’s been playing at Life all along. We’re just a SIMS game to him.

Yer right, ya know!
now he is fucking with critical services that have a user base in the millions and i don't think he understands how quickly consequences can emerge for him if he breaks them
They don't realize that unemployed people don't spend money on things like cars or other unnecessary items.
The dollar won't be worth anything, anywhere, even if Musk decides to start printing money for himself.
Crypto but with real paper
