I had something really bad over winter break. Since only emergency rooms were open when I got sick (in Japan during New Year, everything is closed Dec 31-Jan 3), I never got tested to see what it was, but 4 home covid/flu tests said it wasn't those. It was terrible. Finally stopped coughing recently

Just got back from doctor's after waking up with a fever this morning. I've had basic cold/sinus bullshit for weeks but no fever til today. Covid and flu negative but all the coughing and draining landed me with acute sinusitis and on my way to pneumonia. Almost everyone I know is sick

I somehow goes it *twice* since Christmas. Kept testing negative for COVID. Never went further than an upper respiratory infection but it still sucked, my throat was on fire for a week both times. Lotta coughing.

Long Term Covid effects are absolutely happening. Immune systems are being compromised and depending on the body and other conditions everyone is having different reactions. The Quad pandemic doesn't help and with a compromised immune system nasty things will happen. The new norm 🤷‍♀️

For me, it’s a dry, scratchy throat, headache, drowsiness, and never ending snot. Every time I blow my nose, I go through four or five tissues. It’s miserable! And yes, I have had it twice since the beginning of the year.

Of note, I do not live in the US. I live in Japan.

I've been sick already. My doctor said it was the flu. I never get the flu, and I had a flu shot. She showed me a graph on the computer as to how the cases of the flu have gone up exponentially and that the flu shot is not taking care of this strain. I hope you feel better.
