Visited Scotland for the 1st time last spring. Beautiful and wonderful! Please know that as an American personally am appalled by what is going on with this newly elected president and his loyalists. Pass that along.
this is the kind of thing i thought of replying when i saw this tweet, but i didnt even bother to try to find such an image because i assumed it could not possibly exist. how
Now that we're on speaking terms, please tell me if my nephew was fucking with me.
Good sense of humor, is a serious guy, though.
My paternal g'ma maiden name was Cannon. Did 1 of those ancestor sites, back to early 16th C. Orkneys -
to a town named "TWATT".
🥺🌵
Nip over rain way tomorrow and see our red arrows! Are you visiting or working in 🏴? Visiting go through the highlands, and see the west coast, or down the east and see Arbroath, St Andrews, the East Neuk of Fife and visit our community group cafe in ceres on Tuesday! Options in life
Since moving back home to Scotland 2 years ago, I have been reacqainting myself with all the food I ate when I was a child: tablet, flat sausage, snowballs, scotch pies, to name four. It's been wonderful. Tablet is as addictive as crack.
I visited Aberdeen at the summer solstice, and now I can't trust any of my memories of it, because living for a week in a place that barely got dark for a few hours at a time broke my little mid-latitude brain.
I’ve only been the once, but I remember it as being a lovely places. It’s only 20 miles away from probably my all time favourite castle (which is a crowded field). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunnottar_Castle
Its a gorgeous country! You can just FEEL the age and history there. The mist and green hills <3 I went with my family after graduating HS and it was magical!
Am an American who's been living in Scotland for a decade plus, and I never know what to check out when I'm in Aberdeen. If you find anything particularly dope, don't keep it to yourself.
The granite architecture of the city is really impressive, though it's difficult to properly appreciate it when you're running for your life through apocalyptic levels of rain rain while being hunted down by the kind of seagulls that would make Hitchcock shudder.
Last time I was in (y)our beautiful country (I gather I have Scottish roots), I couldn't understand 10% of the people talking to me. Where do I learn to talk like that?
So you might be able to clear something: Does the sun - not the tabloid, the sun, that bright warm thing up in the sky - actually really exist in Scotland?

Your teeth will possibly dissolve, but the sugar high will power you for a week.
Hope you have a fun time in Scotland!
Lovely day just now, sunny and warm.
Welcome to Aberdeen!

Enjoy the trip. Count the number of times you faint witnessing the gorgeousness that is Scotland's natural views as they're breathtaking.

What can I say. Dad joke is required.
Felt weird just leaving that there without clarifying
It's changing I think, but I prefer to err on the side of caution
but now I'd like to be in Scotland.

Is this your first time to Scotland? x
Do me a favor and drink some top-shelf Scotch while you're there at least. Make me proud.
