Happy year of the snake! I would argue that the snakes of the United States are just as varied and pretty as our birds. A few years ago I made a poster to try and prove it. Drawing this took many months and a lot of research. You can get it here:

Watched YTuber ViperKeeper for a while, I think he's been on for about 10 years. He has one in his intro, and I always forward pass it.
it bit the glove and the venom traveled down the glove and pooled at the crook of his elbow and made it swell up but he was fine
But now I've learned more about snakes! Which is cool!
