My partner kept a giant tube from something which he was entertained by for days & when we moved house/to the other end of the country a year later the giant tube somehow came with us! I’d ask if we still have it but I have an assignment due and I can’t take a week of him blowing tunes through it 😭

We had one and used it as the “i’m sorry tube” — if you did something crappy, you could apologize to your spouse in the other room by aiming the tube and saying “i’m sorry” into it. Making accountability fun! 😁

I used to have an incredible cardboard tube that was closed on one end. I called it my "roach tube" because if a cockroach got in my house, I could trap it in the tube from a safe distance, then take the whole thing outside and swing it like a baseball bat and fling the roach into my yard.

I kept two of these in my storage for years and was finally vindicated when a friend was doing a Star Wars themed activity for kids at her job and transformed them into light sabers. I literally made fanfare noises when I brought them out.
