An aspect of the US election I’m not seeing much comment on.
Around 100 million people eligible to vote decided they couldn’t be bothered ticking a box to deny fascism.
Tick a box.
They weren’t asked to stand up to any sort of personal pressure or threat, just tick a box.
They decided not to.

their form of protest “I am not going vote, that’ll learn ya!”
the cognitive dissonance is a major issue I reckon, where choosing not to vote is going against your own best interests, bizarre really.
It’s always been this way, I find it weird. And disappointing. And they inflict an imbecile on the world without a second thought.
one of the TV shows asked people on the street if they were going to vote today
most replied yes - it was the day after the election
Biden enjoys a fireside chat with a “fascist”
In Oz the stayers are housing, corporate gouging, social security, wealth inequality
All governments during post-C19 inflation are getting hammered
But Trump makes me sad for humanity no end!
What does politics have to do with me
Joe understands too how to talk to the blue collar workers who Bernie & Trump connect with whereas Harris like Clinton was perceived as a city elitist!
Single issue voting always seems a poor decision to me, especially when both options will do nothing for Palestine.
Surely keeping Trump
out for all the other reasons made sense?
Bizarre when millions around the world would have been happy to do it for them.
Like Trump
Harris was too busy w the 13-month genocide.
She didn't have time to work on her non-fascist messaging.

Is it deliberate?
The excuse of states rights is nonsense, all of Europe was divided into small states recently enough.
I left Twitter two years ago, so it is a long time. It’s great to see everyone popping up here.
Gobsmacked.
Your post immediately reminded me of it.
Apathy is one of society's biggest problems.
I see this cartoon in social media too, people wanted change from Twitter, but weren’t willing to create something better if it cost any effort.
But the true non voters spit on our heroes and doom our future
America is nuts.
They deserve whatever happens to them.
USA voter apathy is renowned. And amazing since they're the leader of the "Free World" 🤪😂

Would it have been a Pac, a newspaper, a con man with a social site who swayed me?
No, I could see Trump is a fuckwit with my own eyes.
The marginalised, maligned and disaffected have never shown up , indeed the System , controlled by the Electoral College, was designed to give the results it has consistently delivered , which further disenfranchises those same people
#Dotard47 won’t Change it
About 150 million do vote
Ergo 70 million who, while eligible to enroll to vote, either do not or did not
Unemployment, but more specifically, underemployment is legion across both seaboards and the Lakes States
Not difficult to see how 70 million out of 220 mil just don’t give a fuck …in their lives …nothing will change
It's called integrity.
But, yes, worse than usual
What you can do is appall a voter so much they abstain
The Great Dictator(X) played the gullible
Charlie Chaplin rolling in his grave
😱😰
Creeps adhere to the science is when it enhances their capacity to manipulate 💔
The very idea of the consequences of giving him a 2nd term should have chilled voters to the bone
Several notable Republicans put 'Country over party' and endorsed/voted for Harris
to manipulate the gullible
So many barely hanging on regards food and shelter
Don't/Can't process politics
The resources applied to manipulation is terrifying💔
So many naive, self-righteous cries of 'I refuse to vote for gEnoCiDe jOe' etc
Whether Americans liked it or not, it WAS a binary choice - either Trump or Harris would be President

compromising the left via their support for zionists while maga had no such qualms, but nobody asked them
netanyahu won in 3 areas - the genocide, his preferred prez & the war footing keeps him in power (so far)
