Please take this seriously: If we get out of this alive, we literally need to push HARD for deep structural changes across law, policy, the judiciary, and the ways in which elected officials get coopted by donors. There is no other way to secure the future.

No one 70 or older can run for any office.
Eliminate pardon power.
Eliminate electoral college.
Eliminate Citizens United.
Congressional districts must be compact and contiguous
Require each state to allocate EC votes by congressional district
Elect 2 Senators from each District Court, who then are the Judicial Oversight Committee. They submit candidates for SC nominations to the President
1/2
Each year, Most senior SCJ retires
Repeal Citizens United
Concessions made to prop up red/confederate/former slave states have no place in our government.
But abolishing it would require an amendment
Expanding the House can be done by passing a law and would bring the EC more closely aligned to the popular vote
The name has fooled millions & millions more have no understanding of it.
Big Dark Money does not belong in our politics.
Plus speaking of left - Dems need to go back to where they were 30-40 years ago not mimicking a centric party and is basically a clone of 1990s Republicans
No one wants to vote for some non-entity who uses a House seat as a capitalist stepping stone into an even 'better' job.
Gerrymandering is another huge problem.
Until that happens, nothing will change.
You can have capitalism, or democracy.
But not both.
Citizen’s United has got to go
Electoral College has got to go!
We need voting SCIF’s
I try to think about how this can happen and the only way I can see it happening is if we really hit the bottom of the barrell. Otherwise some tea party assholes will try again
And Dems have got to be ruthless and fierce if we ever gain real power again
Every single thing has to be assumed it is compromised.
There are so many points listed here which are important.
They are showing, once again, who they are now. Refusing to change leadership, voting with the GOP, protecting their seats, feeling entitled & asking for your money.

No man should be.
It's their safety net, get out of jail free card, top brass.
...and we all just acknowledge it - and move on to the next distraction.
Force campaigns to only be able to raise a limited amount of funds, and you'll see the lobbyists go away.
You'll also see more time to govern, instead of raising funds.
And they can show us how good they are with budgeting.
Lobbyists used to be bad enough. But Citizen's United just outright legalized bribery. That decision was an act of Treason bought and paid for by Christian Nationalists with the design of overthrowing the Constitution and ending democracy.
You know, like we did before Reagan
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” (Wayne Dyer)
Their organizations and ability to serve must be REMOVED PERMANENTLY
The D’ project 2029 ?
National popular vote for each article, not by state or state politicians.
1. Delete Electoral College
2. Codify "all created equal" & bodily autonomy
3. Confirm Bill of Rights
4. Limit Presidential power with specifics
5. Outlaw Citizens United
6. Senators by population 1-4 (ex. SD 1, WI 2, IL 3 , CA 4)
Right-wing orgs are pushing for this to get rid of the Constitution. We have to cut them off at the knees before we can change anything else.
We can literally replace 80% of the antiquated super expensive court system with a simple app. Even voting could be done with an app. We gotta get rid of 80% of lawyers too.
The sooner we realize that, the more likely it will be for the good.
That will put the brakes on corruption.
Author, 'The Mechanics of Changing the World: Political Architecture to Roll Back State & Corporate Power'
This book opened my eyes to the pervasiveness of corruption and contamination in politics and commerce.

Because these criminals have no intention of leaving office.

Tax the rich!
50% of everything over a billion.
Expand Judiciary.
Modern Immigration System.
If the Dems ever get back in power, they will take the fact they got back in power to mean the system was never broken enough to be worth fixing.
If they don't ever get back in power, it won't matter how broken they think the system is.
If you give the people the illusion that things might get better one day, that's generally enough to keep them in line, so that's all the corporate money cares about...
I still can’t believe the pols still use words like “norms” and “bi-partisan”. They sound quaint, naive, and are, in the end, as much of a threat as those actively tearing down our country.
Clean Money elections...transparency laws reapplied or strengthened...reexamine monopoly law enforcement...strengthen worker protections...tax the rich fairly to pay debts instead of poor...and a lot more
