Do you remember the very FIRST video game you ever played?
Do you still play it?
Do you still play it?

For myself too.
And for internet clout?
I probably really want to get like, Stone Soup or something
(or dungeons of dread more)
Well, I do want to do it properly, so I will do the work, but there's sumo to watch right now.
The first game I can remember playing was a danish game called "Magnus og Myggen" (Magnus and the Mosquito, translated to english), but I might have played other games before that. 😊
It released in 1996.
- Commander Keen (from 1990)
- Sonic the Hedgehog (from 1991)
- The Lion King (from 1994)
Obviously I didn't play any of them in their release years as I'm from 1990 myself.😅
I go back to it every so often. I'm tempted to replay it after replying to this post!
I plan on playing the NES version as part of my two year streaming anniversary.
And no 😂
Did every mall have a Goldmine?
I haven't played it in years but I really want to give it a go again. I know its on PS+ but I wish there was a series collection!
While it seemed very hightech and sophisticated at the time it got old very quick. Let’s say in about 10 minutes after booting up for the first time.
And at some point, every year, I end up replaying it in some form.
I was four and had my hand-me-down NES I got from my cousin, and I remember seeing that gold cartridge and the rest was history lol
I do when I am able to play it. I beat it when I was three and was a major staple in my life.
YES.
I don’t. I loved the Atari but my retro gaming doesn’t go back before 8 bit.
my actual first: DOOM.
No, but its still amazing to this day haha
Those hard levels where solid!
1. Rocky's boots https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky's_Boots
And needless to say but nah I don't play it still lol
Other then that it was probably the first Mario on NES, and once in a blue moon I'll play that.
…I played it last week.
And I do still hold em in pretty high regard
Fun fact, I used my C64 monitor till about 2003 for NES. It would also display PSX in b&w
Think I last played it in 2016.
And no,DEFINITELY not lol
Dad's machine didn't survive a flood and while I've poked around and found it I'm not that big a fan.
Revisit that bad Larry once a month.
Super Smash Brothers on Nintendo 64
And I do not. I play the newer versions on the Nintendo Switch.
I remember not liking it much back then and liked Sonic 1 more
My dad had an Intellivision. This was an Atari competitor, but it wasn't as popular. My first video game would have been on this console (probably Burger Time)
My GBC was teal, and god damn I loved that thing. I was addicted to Tetris. And yes, I still play Tetris to this day.
I've already 100% it a long, long while ago, so no.
Damn it, Patrick.
A little easier than the OG version for sure. that one was brutal
I need to get the 2600 out again...
Hadn't played it since '96 or '97 until today. Managed to find it on Internet Archive!
But I'm pretty sure it was GTA2, on my brothers computer when he was in unis dormitory and we were visiting.
Its my first gaming memory. I was 4, he let me drive a tank :)
and hell no
A good game, but I'm more likely to replay STH2.
Favourite when they got more sophisticated was Mr Do! Would love to get my hands on one of these.
Nes.
Haven’t played it since then but its the game that set me on the right path!
Probably one of Highnoon, Galaxy, Park Patrol, Bumping Buggies...
I nostalgically emulate them and others from time to time. My kids enjoy Highnoon and IK.
Remember getting that and a PlayStation for Christmas/Birthday, definitely 100% the game that started my gaming journey!
So no, but i would!
