I was a bit scared when those first came out that they could be (if utilized on a wider scale) a potential threat to our existing understanding of physical space as we know it. Now I feel some sense of relief.
Every time I feel like a total moron, I think back to the first time I saw one of these in person with no warning and though “wow this shit is stupid”
CEOs are the dumbest people alive.
“I got to tell them once, twice, three times, five times, ‘Guys, you got to pay the f---ing bill!’”
On one hand, screw you Walgreens, but on the other... This delightful time we're in. "Hey, you didn't pay your door subscription fee!"
My fav thing in the world is to walk thru Home Depot and see invalid ssl certificate errors and blue screens of death on those stupid touchscreen fridges
Hated these things. Wasn’t a fan of seeing job openings for Cooler Screens back when I was looking a while back. I needed a job but was quite skeptical of that being a growing market.
I called it back on The Other Place. This startup was a bunch of computer obsessed techbros that thought they could do data, without being able to actually do anything data. What more can you gleam from consumer habits than them *literally purchasing things in the store*?
You know what I changed my mind. They're brilliant for convincing an entire board of directors for a store chain to stuff their pockets before they bounce to the next sucker, and I want to shake their hands.
