Start Emperor's Children for 40k and finish my HH army.
Continue working on my Dark Elves and Chaos Dwarfs for TOW. If Chaos Dwarfs release for AoS this year, I'll do something for AoS too but I've enough to be getting on with.
Woodworking, 3D printing, Arduino, Soldering, Electric and Acoustic guitar, Fishing, Boat building, Gardening, Building lasers, HAM Radio, Music Production, Analog synthesizers.
I am hoping to come to terms with the sad reality that I just don't have the time or energy for full on Warhammer and I can overcome the guilt I feel when not painting something for the army I'd play and just paint what so ever I damn well please. Like one of these rascal town goblins I have.
Attempting to complete a 1k Kruleboyz army whilst teaching my wife how to paint and get her to complete the soulblight Gravelords spearhead and learn AOS 4 together
- Paint an AoS Spearhead.
- Paint another five Kill Teams
- Paint another Kill Team Terrain set (full board).
- Run a small Kill Team demo/joint operations event.
My plan is to continue painting at minimum 1 mini each week, build more mud-world terrain (stuff for Turnip28, Last War and Trench Crusade), and continue my current trend of actually scheduling games in advance (and thus actually playing games).
Start a new AoS army/ continue current AoS army, definitely Shatterpoint, maybe Kill Team, probably Necromunda. Learn to photograph things properly. Stop buying weasel bum brushes. That's about it.
Finish off my Mordheim terrain and play some more games on it. Print more Victorian/Steampunk buildings & paint them. Paint assorted minis. Maybe get started playing Idols of Torment. Maybe Trench Crusade. Run more Knaves 2 & other RPGs
Build and paint terrain set ups for Infinty, Bushido, Warcrow.
Paint Warcrow.
Paint Bushido.
Paint a bust/display piece.
Paint another faction for Infinity.
I have a whole lot of Temple of Ro-Kan stuff that I've been meaning to paint for the last seven years. It's going to be hard to match the colour schemes when I get to it :)
Love that the game is still around, the people making it are great.
FInish out a 2000 point Heresy Blood Angels army. Finish out a 40k Firstborn (pre-8th edition) Battle-Company, also for my Blood Angels. Get started on a Badab War Salamanders army. Get started on a Heresy Raven Guard army. Build and paint 3 Land Raiders. Build and paint 40k Guilliman and Abaddon.
Getting into Kill Team for sure & spending time having little projects for each team I have.
Really wanting to get the gaps filled on my S2D army, built, painted & ready for a 1k Path to Glory campaign with friends when the new campaign book comes too... & eagerly awaiting Soulblight release...
Finish painting a dumb skaven monster army, then back to the backlog of Necromunda/LotR/HH, with a side order of Trench Crusade along with finally sorting out a propper hobby space at home.
I am vowing that other than prepping for running some convention games in March, I'm only working on my WWII projects, or spaceships, for the year. For WWII that's uh, five projects (scales), I'm trying to limit it to two for spaceships.
Paint up a Stormcast army. It might be hubris to say "try to win Best Painted at an event,". Not sure if a Scenic Board would help or not. Have you done a video on the Painting Meta?
- Finish painting my Stormcast army
- Finish painting my Ultramarines
- Start playing Turnip28
- Dive face first into Trench Crusade
- Play Epic Warpath when it arrives
- Play more Kings of War, Deadzone, Malifaux and Gaslands
- Keep adding to this list...
Get a 10mm game of Midgard from Two Fat Lardies going. Picked up some 3d printed Wood Elves and some Undead from Pendraken. Want to get them on the table.
THIS year was supposed to be the year of the 54mm minis. Sadly, it did not happen (I was distracted by other hobby stuff) so. 2025 will *hopefully* be the year. I have some minis and terrain items to build so I at least have that much going for me.
the main one is to focus more on my local community. People around the world are super cool but in the end 99% of the time I will be playing with my clubmates. So, more playing in French and writing more game-stuff in French (I am writing a Trench-Crusade-campaign-in-a-day for the club rn)
Getting my Seraphon backlog built and painted, Seeing if I can get it all built so no kits left over before christmas then undercoat when weather allows it.
Beyond that figure out a list i'm happy running and get 2nd 3-2 and more beyond that hopefully.
Hobby wise: finish up a few new units for Astra Militarum, Necrons and Chaos Knights ('Damned' for the new detachment), but main project will be my new year, new army - Leagues of Votann.
(Also need to see if I can resist Emperor's Children.)
Finish painting my Dark Elf Army, get to TSN with it. Start an Empire army, get it all themed up in Northumberland colours.
I'm also hoping to move and start a wargaming club in the small town I'm (hopefully) moving to.
I should get around and finish the 2nd half of that big box of Rampart City Ruins I originally bought to build an Arkham Asylum table for the Batman Miniatures Game.
I've got a couple of Killteam squads primed that I need to paint and some minis I'll be using for Rangers of Shadowdeep that need to be primed and painted as well.
I think my big goal is to get over trying to paint them all perfectly and just do the best I can and have fun with it.

Not as big on hero focused ones like shatterpoint or malifaux, more like just a squad of dudes.
I also want to start a new army, ideally a destruction one to vary up playstyle. Let’s hope the new Orruk book isn’t completely bin 🙃
