Canada retaliates.
Trump: "your not even allowed to do that"

Bloody Germans *shakes gnarly fist*
big number go bigger= more good
Although, that said, many foreign manufacturers have plants in the US, which will presumably have their style cramped as well. That could lead to some interesting international pressure situations...
Absolutely nothing.
We’ll need to work our asses off to find new trading partners, sure. But I feel fairly confident we will find them in the end.
Now, the US… ohhhh boy.
Can't wait until it's time to spread potash. That'll be very entertaining to watch.
Growth is good yeah 😬
In terms of shares, my investments just became long-term
You'll have to fight Elon for him, though. Maybe you could get Zuck to be your stand-in!
Also Frank: "here's some confident bad math!"
Corporate America: "one of us!"
To normalize this idea is scary ...
"don't look at the stock market tho"

It's good for Canada. It's good for Putin.
The nefarious Boeing:
Like, sure, Canada is going to be in a rough spot for years because of shit like this. But there are 200 other countries to trade with.
And all of them would rather work with Canada than a petulant child.
As Canadians, we can be remarkably petty and have long memories.
We will remember the decades we spent as close friends and allies, but now we'll also remember that one crazy person can change how our ceaseless friendship was rewarded.
We do not fuck around when we have a grudge to settle.
i don’t even know im so sorry
rock on up there !!!
it’s insane
The rich buy yachts and are affected.
I'm sure the metal fabrication plants in US don't have capacity since so must has been outsourced
Show them what you got!
I've never been able to find poutine to try, sadly.
I've heard that the US isn't a country, it's 50 countries in a trench coat.
But you could more accurately describe it as 300 cities where everyone lives, surrounded by vast stretches of land that, for some reason, has a vote.
But most of us still call Canada and Greenland friends - fish, cider, maple syrup, and we both have a moose problem. So we'd likely fight with you. 🫂
Could be worse, because bipartisanship erases representation and only increases polarization... Like whatever the fuck keeps happening in Alberta :/
As by US standards all of canada would be a deep blue state and would upset the electoral college balance.
Would literally mean there would be no more republican president.
Shows yet again Trumps plan for a Dictatorship
He ain't good with the numbers or the thinking
However, just like tarrifs, I have never seen spite work as advertised, and I continue to be appalled at the gall of many US citizens' ignorance of real issues.
But now we have a clear reason to change for the better, as the short-term consequences are here anyhow.
Dumb dumb dumb dumb.
Canada: Jacks up price of resources
Trump: *tantrum*
For the sake of sanity and clarification, god I’m so fucking anxious and depressed
it's one thing to tank our own economy because we couldn't be bothered to understand the world we lived in.
But now we're hurting our greatest trade partner who's only mistake was trusting us.
Maybe.
Literally anyone? No???
and soon they'll tell us what it was!
Any extra “energy”, good or bad, you add to the economy seems to accelerate the rate at which billionaires acquire more.
Also Trump when Canada retaliates: They played us like a damn fiddle!
