And he gets so miffy if he is interrupted. I found him on Yahoo!'s campus when I worked there - he was maybe a week and a half old, his eyes weren't even open yet, he obviously didn't get much time with mom. He's 15 now, but he will always be baby. #HimsBaby
I found a dropped baby in my work parking lot one day. I brought her home & bottle fed her, talked to a zillion ppl online and had pics on twitter every day. brought her to work, would be on my shoulder on heating pad. (I worked in the phone at a desk.) she lasted 10 days. I was devastated. lil D ♥️
You did everything you could. We were so scared that Hank would not survive, because he was just so small. Getting the feeding right, making sure you had poked enough holes in the bottle nipple, but not too many so he would asphyxiate.
And then he would scream and cry and scratch his way up the bottle… too hungry to even focus. I tracked his progress in an Excel spreadsheet… How much he ate, if he pooped, weight gain (we weighed him on a vegetable scale). Middle of the night feedings, it gives me anxiety just thinking about it.
And he is such a robust little motherfucker. He tore our arms to shreds, because our older cat at the time did not want any of that kitten shit. Now, he is so loving, he is obviously just so extra special to us.
Oh my god, that is the most heart wrenching story. I just want to hug you. You gave her so much love and comfort, I hope you know that. I rescued a baby rabbit once from the golf course I worked at in high school in 1986 (no web), & he died after a few days. It's still guts me when I think about it.

At one point she just looked despondent like she needed to rethink her life choices and move out.
I let her watch cat tv and when the birds fly off screen she looks around the room for a few minutes to see where they went.
